I'm actually really excited to see it but have a lingering feeling like I'm going to leave the theater feeling like I've just been beaten with a switch.
You need to listen to what your father says then! Just because you were born to a NFL running back does not give you the right to act a fool!

If I made a movie with "white people" in the title I doubt that I'd have "dear" in front. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I prefer the term "European American"

I can't tell if they are making fun of black people who blame everything on racism, or if they're actually serious
Seems like they're trying to make fun of both black people who blame everything on white people and say they can't be racist, and also making fun of rich white people who say racism is gone.
I'm not in any hurry to see this movie but I guess it could be good.

I think it looks like it presents both sides pretty well. The trailer itself mentions how another black female thinks the show is "blacker than thou propaganda."
It looks like it is a movie that takes a look at a conversation we should be having on a mass scale in America today, and it couldn't come at a better time what with Ferguson still going on. Hopefully it's not some "celebrate black people because white people are terrible" load of garbage, but it looks pretty good to me.
ETA: Maybe I'll go see it with one of my two black friends.
EATA: Will be a redbox rental. No way I'm paying $13 to see it in theaters. I just don't have enough faith that I'm going to walk out of there having enjoyed the movie. And the last thing I want is some a-hole giving me shite if the movie ends up going sideways on me.
