Danny McCray and The Challenge

I’ve been a huge fan of Americas 5th sport since the beginning but went a decade without watching after college. Does Danny join them in later seasons or he’s on the all star cast? I’m on season 35 right now. As bad as he was some games at LSU he’s still a tiger

He was a pretty good special teams ace which is how he lasted a few years in the nfl

No doubt. He also had some good games in 2007.

He also made decently far in Survivor if I remember right. Seemed very likeable

danny played a solid game of survivor and a strong challenge game as well.
he was really never gonna win survivor from the edit we were getting, but he was a good player by all accounts.
tyson completely dominated his season of the challenge and the finale is a little fishy with some weird stuff going on, but danny is the type of player that you really shouldn't let get to the final. much like jordan.
i definitely wouldnt mind seeing danny on the mtv version of the challenge. however, he will provide absolutely zero drama since he's actually a normal person so the CBS version fit him a lot better.

I didn’t watch the Challenge on CBS and never seen Survivor, but they are filming an all star season with people from the MTV challenges, people from abroad, etc. Almost everyone has won at least one recent challenge, I believe.
Amber B, Darrell, Jodi, Bananas, Jonna, Jordan, Kaycee, Kelly Anne, Nelson, Nia, Theo (!), Wes, and Yes are on it.
There are also about 15 other contestants, including Danny who are from the recent non-MTV seasons, including Emily Seebohm from Australia who is a 3 time Olympic gold medalist and multiple world champion in swimming so they have some really elite athletes.

It was all CBS people, no former MTV people, but was still entertaining.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Danny on the actual Challenge, but he has the CBS Challenge "World Championship" first that is supposed to be all the finalists from several international versions.

Tyson (and others) claimed it was rigged... but really they just couldn't do Sudoku and Danny and Sarah could.
I would agree that eliminating Angela was fishy.
