They're still "deliberating" at a time when they were "filming' last year.

ETA:

At the very least they should do a wrap-up movie or mini-series. Kinda like Farscape did with Peacekeeper Wars.

FWIW - The producers of Farscape are the same folks doing Defiance.

Yeah, Lost Girl just has way too high of a cheese factor for me, and not in a good way.

Watching the first episode of Continuum right now though, seems pretty sweet.

Someone posted some tweets from Gary the other day where he was saying no word has been said green lighting a 3rd season, so most likely it will be canceled.

I wonder if they have a way to track how many people record shows?

IDK. One of the sites I stream shows from averages between 30K and 40K per episode of Alphas. That's just one streaming site... Torrents are probably 5x+ per ep.

hmm, maybe we will get lucky and Netflix will pick it up?

dunno how hard up they are for continuing shows that get canceled now that they are starting to produce their own stuff.

Warehouse 13, Being Human and Defiance are the only truly original shows they are completely producing. They're kicking in on Lost Girl now that it's in Season 3. Continuum is Canadian produced.

I just watched a pilot movie for another Canadian SciFi show called Borealis. Hope they turn it into a regular show. IMDb Profile

I was talking about Netflix continuing Alphas like they are doing with Arrested Development, not SyFy.

as for Josh, I'm guessing he will be one again soon. Probably via Norah or whoever that girl was in the preview after tonights episode. Or maybe since that witch seems to have brought back Sam it will cause Josh to change again?

Sorry... Misinterpreted your post. Alphas is way too pricey for them to do I would think. I wish another network like FOX or TNT would see the potential.

I enjoyed "Continuum" very much tonight!

I really like Kenzi and the Alex Sadler(?)subplot.

I also think her husband is part of the resistance, and knew those prisoners were going to escape because of the way he went batshit trying to get her out of there.

I hope future Alex is more Nina Sharp than William Bell.

Maybe this can fill a small part of the void that will open up after the "Fringe" finale.

Kiera. Kenzi is on Lost Girl.

They're very good at pacing out breadcrumbs about what happens in the future on Continuum, IMO.
