Classic Survivor only through Season 30 (Worlds Apart)- SPOILERS

I religiously watched Survivor through 21 until family matters sort of pulled me away from it. I started again early pandemic with 40 and am current up to the present season (47).
In April, I finally decided to back and fill in the blanks, starting with a re-watch of 20 and 21. I just finished 30 last night.
I have been very pleasantly surprised at how great every season still seems to me. I think I'm still a lean to the old format of 39 days + a reward challenge every week.
Worlds Apart (30) ended up being a great season. I was shocked they gave it to Mike in the end. Rodney is an all-time great in terms of entertainment value. Will's treatment of Shirin was shocking.
29 (2nd Blood and Water) was great also. Wish John Rocker hadn't been booted so quickly.
Crazy to see Cochran come from goat to GOAT.
Cagayan (28) seems like it's very worthy of all the adulation it gets. I loved Tony and HATED Kass (just like she wanted).
Colton!
I'm assuming 31-39 have more of the same goodness in store?
One thing I have always thought was weird is "medical". It doesn't seem like they should allow medical to help as much as they do. e.g. in 29, medical put a full splint/cast on Missy and then let her go back out there. That seems crazy to me and definitely an advantage.

There a few duds in there and a few gems.
My pick for worst season ever is in that group, but also a personal top 5 season, plus a bunch of really good seasons.

As big of a fan of Survivor as I am, I can never remember players from more than a couple of seasons back except for the really memorable ones like Tom the firefighter, Tony, etc.
Jeff has talked about a medical station where contestants who take prescription drugs go and get their daily dose. It sounds like a small cabinet in the jungle. Makes sense but I wonder what they do if you’re supposed to take medicine with food?

I stopped when they wouldn't stop brining the Hantz family back. I have no clue when that was. I think early 20s.

quote:I mean, yeah, they stopped "bringing the Hantz family back" 25ish. It was just the dipshit nephew - and his final exit was glorious. Philip, of all people, made him look the fool.
