Just saw this rereleased in IMAX. I tried getting tix for the 70mm in LA but every single seat of every show was sold out for the week.

Not hearing but FEELING Hans Zimmers score is worth seeing this in theaters alone.

Absolutely my favorite movie ever.

He is confusing him with Steven Soderberg. I did the same thing the other day.

Jesus, I remember this stupid argument with OML and how thick-headed he was (as usual). That was an annoying day.

Matt Damon was the perfect casting for Dr. Mann

Solid bump.

Whole concept is flawed. The human race wouldn’t have survived that situation initially to evolve into future 5th dimensional beings to build the tesseract for Cooper to then give the world the secret of space travel.

Should’ve been aliens.

Would have been some that made it. Doesn’t take a lot.

However, what is the mumble shite on the dialog? Its obviously by design because its in all his movies.

It’s the sound mixing. Nolan has his editors mix the sound for a theater setting, but when you play his movies at home on your 5:1 sound system all you get is pure bass.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, and for the record I love the movie, but I wish he would have cast someone other than Matthew McConaughey and Hathaway.

Heve seen it countless times & saw it again on IMAX here and I don't remember it being that bad before. Boy was I wrong, over half of the dialog was indiscernible. Still loved it and can watch it on Blu-ray going forward. That docking scene! GOAT

Yeah, that aspect is definitely tough.

My daughters (12 and 16) and I watched it together this summer. They loved it. So much so that my 16 year old came across the interstellar/‘39 mashup and now I randomly hear them say “Alexa, play ‘39 by Queen”

Watched it again the other day.
One thing that's always bugged me is they used a Saturn V to launch the Rangers which has advanced propulsion technology and can escape planets with gravity more than earth. Seen it discussed before that perhaps they we're saving the Ranger's unobtanium fuel.
