I was watching, and really blown away with the long shots.
That was a cinametorgay masterpiece.

Easily the most overrated movie ever. Even more so than The Big Lebowski. Some really good movies are overrated. I don't think this one is even good.

I really don't fathom how someone could even remotely think that. This is an almost universally praised film and its impeccable in almost every aspect, especially in its technical achievements.

But to each his own

Which is why I gave it a second watch. It's just not good. Google "children of men overrated". It's not an uncommon thought.

However, I didn't care. Its an amazing film, a towering achievement. Sometimes you just have to put your personal politics to the back and appreciate art.

Rat poison is designed to be delicious to rats. They have to prefer it above all other foods available to them, or it doesn't work.

Not entertaining, weak story.

So two completely subjective things, one of which "Not entertaining" really defies thinking given the film we are talking about.

But ok. On an objective level, its a film with insane technical achievements.

I can't argue against your level of entertainment however

I guess I did not notice it.

And I am not telling anyone they should not enjoy it. I just cannot come up with another movie that even comes close to it in the overrated category. The greatest movie ever comments are what's giving this one the clear lead.

Theo: "Baby Diego was a wanker!"

Jasper: "Yeah, but he was the youngest wanker on Earth!"

When I was younger I wanted to be like Jasper when I got old. Now that I'm old, I don't want to fool with long hair, nor do I want to smoke weed. I shave my head and only eat gummies.

Instead of looking like Sir Michael Caine in Children of Men, I look more like Sir Ben Kingsley in An Ordinary Man.
