I was thinking House of Usher - the 1960 one, lol

Also Old Yeller, and a couple more. The House of Usher is the most memorable because my older sister ran all the way home, leaving me to walk there alone in the dark under a bunch of old spooky oak trees. I was about 8 years old. I still haven't forgiven her for that.

LOL, yes I remember that one too. It was scary as all heck back then. I recently saw it on TCM and had to laugh at how hokey it all was; great atmosphere, but the acting was over the edge... maybe time now to forgive that sister. Haha.

Old Yeller made me cry. Too sad to watch even now.

From the first grade(1965):
That Darn Cat
Von Ryan's Express

From the second grade(1966):
The Ghost & Mr. Chicken
Follow Me Boys
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
The Sand Pebbles

From the third grade (1967):
The Jungle Book
Cool Hand Luke
Bonnie & Clyde

From the fourth grade (1968):
Once Upoun a Time in the West
Where Eagles Dare
Night of the Living Dead
Planet of the Apes

From the fifth grade (1969)
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
Easy Rider

Saw all of the above movies at the theater.

Grew up kind of fast going to movies with two older brothers, especially with one being four years older.

I listed the war movies & westerns because all we did when I was a kid was play "Army", Cowboys and gangsters.

We stole lumber and built tree houses & ramps to jump on our bicycles. We built bridges over creeks.

We had lots of fights and beat the crap out of each other daily!

We played outside until dark every day as there was no cable, video games, videos of any kind or internet. There were just three TV stations to watch.
