Cersei had ages to prepare for this battle.
All she would gave to do is mass produce scorpions, put them in a high tower, and unload on the dragons.
But in the show she just crumbled like she wasn't prepared at all. I would gave liked to see some sort of strategy.

There’s strategy in this show from anyone. Maybe it’s a cost/time thing and/or they just don’t care to include much strategy.
