Castlevania Season 3 is our today.

I’m probably the only one on here who watches it but it’s a very enjoyable series. I usually hate anime stuff but tbis show is just so epic, dark, and intriguing.
Season 3 is getting great reviews. So far it’s at 100% on rotten tomatoes and IGN gave season 3 a 10 (which is rare)

I think its pretty popular here. Lots of fans of the games. I'm glad to see this season is actually 10 episodes instead the first few short seasons.

I'm waiting until the weekend to binge it. I don't know how they can top the battle scene last season set to "Bloody Tears".

Episode 1 had two moments that legitimately had me laughing my arse off:
-Alucard mimicing the Sypha and Trevor puppets
-Sypha's complete reaction when Trevor says that the beer is better than sex

Well, this season was definitely slower and more disparate but I think that works. It’s probably going to be season before stuff starts getting resolved.
Some of the story lines are odd/out of place (I’m looking at you judge character) but still an enjoyable season.

Oh you're not alone by any means. Im loving the new season so far. The action is awesome and the storyline is dark, mature, and well written with some really colorful and interesting characters.
In all honesty this is my favorite style of animation for adult anime. Putting it simply, its still all "Animation", or at least 99%.
On a side note, Im not a fan of Netflix's experiment with the new CGI/Animation mix they've been doing. I understand it probably lets them more quickly put out anima shows they want to include in their service but I dont think the technique is 'There' yet.
Stuff like the show Baki is ok in that the CGI they use is only in certain situations (although still not a fan) but theres some new show very similar to Baki thats nearly entirely the CGI style and it looks terrible.

It was a solid watch. The plot lines kept me guessing with several rewarding twists/payoffs, the characters felt very real and relatable in their own ways, and the action scenes were epic. What more could you ask?
