How have you watched Sherlock and Downton Abbey without checking out Luther?

We dvr alot of series but the two shows that my wife and I watch the night it comes on is Sons of Anarchy, Revenge, and The Killing. Of those 3 Revenge and Sons are definitely our favorites.

the dumb average american watches it no matter what even though there are so much better stuff out there.

Well, I guess I'm just another dumb american.

I watch shows because "I" like them. Not because their popular with certain crowds or on a message board.

We don't seem to enjoy the same taste in tv (because you have terrible taste), thanks for your suggestions though.

FIFY.

I can't believe people fall in line for the CBS procedural and comedies. They are all the same crap.

we have. The wife thought it was a little too gory after episode 3.

We watched episode 1 of american horror story last night. I really enjoyed it, but we won't be resuming it. It scared the shite out of my wife.

thanks for all the suggestions!!!!! I will keep on reading the thread. I d/ld american horror story, supernatural and friday night lights.

we also tried sons of anarchy. The wife gave up after 2 episodes, I made it until they went ot ireland and then I thought it was too stupid to continue.

No mention of Mad Men yet, but if you liked the sopranos, you should like MM. Also, Justified is great.

ETA: Shameless on Showtime.
