I think Grey Matter is significant because the Grey Matter debacle is what actually broke Walt bad. It was the event that planted the seed in Walt to do everything he has done.

After watching parts of the first few episodes I am amazed at how well the writers planned Walt's arc out.

Not even going to try to predict what's going to happen.

Then just when you think it is over the camera slowly comes back into focus and you see Walt and Jesse chopping trees down.

And Hank shows up with some home-brewed beers, "Hey guys, looks like he missed me. That coroner isn't worth a shite."

Do you listen to the breaking bad insider weekly podcast?

Vince Gilligan, writers, actors, and editors talk about the episode and its development.

Gilligan and his crew really pride themselves in writing characters into corners and then finding ways out.

In the latest podcast, Gilligan said that the inclusion of Grey Matter in this most recent episode was done at the behest of a young fan(kevin Cordasco) who was dying of cancer.

1. Nazi's trust Walt. Walt infiltrates, then slaughters most of them. Nazi survivors go to jail.
2. Todd is bludgeoned by Jesse - The sweetest revenge and where 'woodworking' fits in.
3. Jesse survives because Walt just can't bring himself to kill Jesse.
4. Walt takes Ricin - Jesse does wind up killing Walt too. Not sure if both happen but at one does.
5. Jesse goes to prison for his previous crimes.
6. Lydia also get busted by DEA. She goes to prison.
7. Walt's family starts a new with Marie, very somberly.
I see some of the revenge playing out but realistically, there is no happy ending for Breaking Bad.

I will miss it too - So many well acted and scripted episodes.

Great TV that will be memorable for years to come.

If I don't see Louis, I won't be happy. Worst show ever. Throw him in the death pool.

Can't wait for the ending, as bittersweet as it may be.

Since everyone is throwing out predications...

Walt comes back and kills off the Nazis and free's Jesse who gets to finish off Todd. Lydia get's snagged by the DEA.

Not quite sure who gets the Ricin.

The show ends with Jesse killing Walt. The rest of the White/Schrader live their broken lives trying to put the pieces back together. ALL of the $$S is gone - symbolizing that all of Walt's work was for nothing, and only served to blow up his life and the lives of those around him.

I don't think bludgeon is a word I'd use to talk about carving wood?

Maybe he uses some sort of woodworking tool to kill him.

Did Walt ever mail that money package? Maybe the opening scene is Louis getting the package and being like WTF!

Yea, I see a scene where Walt takes out the Nazis and lets Todd stay alive, letting Jesse finish him off. "Let me do it" or "Go ahead, he's all yours."

Predicting something happier. Jesse kills Walt but somehow ends up with his money using it to help raise Holly. I have no idea how they get there but I think that's how it'll end up after the smoke clears.

Last minute validation of everything Walt's done. The money makes its way to help the family, and through all the shite-storm that Walt caused, it somehow turned Jesse into the kind of man he'd like to look after his family after he's gone.

My predictions:

Skyler, Jr, and Marie all skip town

Nazis kill Lydia without telling Todd

Walt kills all nazis except for Todd

Walt frees Jesse who kills Todd

Walt gives Jesse the money since he can't give it to his family

Walt rolls up at Gray Matter and kills everyone

Just before Walt is captured by the police, he uses the ricin on himself

Solid prediction, but which dipping sauce do they choose? Franch or Cajun Kick-arse?

Personally, I'm team Franch for life!

My bad I thought ricin only took a few hours to kill you but I'm sticking to my prediction. I'd rather die in a couple of days than spending how ever long Walt has to live in jail.

I just don't see their being any money left over. I honestly see no happy ending. I could see Walt spending all of the money left over, if the nazis didn't hide it, used to take down GM.

What's funny is we are all probably wrong, this show is so unpredictable.

I think somehow he'll find a way to show GM was funding his meth operation to take them down.

Ah, exactly. So they weren't gonna be involved at all. They just added them for extra dramatic effect and for this kid
