I guess they are right when they say you really can't argue with stupidity. Just because it doesn't follow your completely linear train of thought, doesn't mean it makes no sense. Walt is allowed to think outside of the box, just like viewers (except for you) do between shows

The meth is blue because it is made with methlamine and not pseudoephedrine. The first time Walt and Jesse cooked, the purity was the same but it was crystal clear. It didn't turn blue until they could no longer get pseudoephedrine.
That was in the fist episode when Jesse was cooking chili powder.

I don't disagree with this. He's clearly angry with the Schwartz's - now, they did show him reading tons of newspapers and he could have seen Andrea's death notice, coverage noting Heisenberg meth, etc., but none of that prompted him to action.
In the interview, which was almost all about him, covered both those topics - meth and GM - this finally connects those 2 grand motivations in Walt's life. Billion dollar enterprises that he effectively made a hash of.

Walt knows his meth has already reached Europe. In that particular part of the interview, if that was mentioned, he would probably think they were just talking about him being its spoken in past tense.

You're the one that said blue meth referred ONLY to Walt's formula. There is literally zero evidence of that.

Ignoring real world science for a second, and just focusing on the meth science/mythology of Breaking Bad - the only "true" blue meth that we know of is the result of methlymine AND Walt's customized revision of his process to accomodate methlymine as the precursor.
If it was solely Walt's process - the pre methlymine product would have been blue. If it were solely methlymine, then everyone who made a reasonably pure meth product with methlymine (P2P) would also get a version of the blue color.
This is not that difficult - this is the "magic" or mythology of the show, if you will - the blue became their brand, and it was the result of this combination.

You two are vastly underestimating the pride/ego of Walter in terms of this blue meth. The blue meth is HIS meth. It has been his meth for 3-4 years. If you aren't going to accept that fact, established throughout the show, then there's no point in keeping this up.
You're quick to start the "well you can't just say Walter knows this happened, jsut because we know" but then you say Walter should just think Jesse is dead because "it was supposed to happen."
