On a rewatch…. The feud with Jesse and the dealers that killed Combo…

Would a guy like Gus ever even make contact or interaction at all with street dealers? Seemed like he’d be more stealthy protecting his identity and have one of his cronies take care of them.

Also, even tho Jesse was not in Gus’ good graces, he was a major cook. Thug dealers are a dime a dozen. Better solution would be to just have his cronies kill the dealers and move on. Jesse and Walt would’ve gained respect and a bit of fear at the same time.

The plan was likely for the dealers to ultimately kill Jesse, and then he would have the dealers killed and wrap up the rogue thorn in his side that Jesse had become.

The series is damn near 20 years old and one of the best if not the best ever made. If you haven’t seen it yet, I have no words.

I noticed this, too. But your answer is "No. Not at all." Gus would not have called a couple of low-level street dealers his "trusted employees" and would have had them whacked at the drop of a hat if he felt they would rat him out.

Gus is the only guy the whole series that I liked.. I was hoping he would have them all hit by the end of season 3..
