Be a complete dumb-arse if you want. Your perogative.
For the record, this board does NOT need another Nanny.

I'm just kind of sick of so many on here trying to make these people into nice guys.
And yet I said:

The thing about this series, is the transformation of the characters since episode one. Events have transpired that have brought them to personal ruin, and utter despair.
Next season the transformation will be complete, evil will have transcended good, and the "good part" of Walt & Jesse will be almost an affectation, as they will react from their souls, which are now black.
In other words, the walk over to The Dark Side is complete.
Next season should be about hubris, not internal conflict.
Go back to the Doily-Folding Board where your delicate sensibilities belong....

Man I thought that was a incredible ending to the season finale. The last 5 minutes were intense as hell. Walt is one smart motherfricker.

He plays up being a "I don't have a clue what's going on" chemist/cook but that dude knows what's going on.
The scene in the laser tag arena proved that to me when he came out and said he knew what was happening.
I think he's already mapped out everything in his head like a chemisty experiment.
What I loved was at the beginning with him and his wife deciding on the home. I told my wife that the person that was in that house right there wasn't Walt but was Heisenburg. Listen to what he says. Walt is one driven mofo with a sadistic side.
I love it.

All season the Breaking Bad threads have had spoiler information the day after the show.
Second, Gilligan makes it clear it was not supposed to be ambiguous. It was supposed to be clear what Jesse did.
So I see nothing wrong with any posts in this thread. The same information has been bandied about all season after each episode.

He could take them to the lab and show them. However, I'm beginning to wonder who the Chinese people are and what that business at the beginning was all about. Are they his chemical suppliers? Who were the Mexicans Mike killed?
I am guessing they are Gus' suppliers, and the Cartel held them hostage trying to find info on how Gus runs his business and where to find the main players of Gus' organization.
Next season Gus will have a lot to deal with trying to continue to produce his meth. All the while the Cartel are getting ever closer to finding him.

just read this, now i knew the show was doing at least four seasons, but i had no idea we came this close to not having it.

"Breaking Bad" is returning for a 4th season on AMC, Variety is reporting. The critically acclaimed show which chronicles the wacky misadventures of a cancer-ridden, meth dealing high school teacher, is one of the most expensive shows on basic cable. The $3 Million per-episode cost threatened to derail a fourth season, but a compromise was reached in which AMC agreed to chip in if the show goes over budge

Because they don't seem to like to skip forward in time too much (one of the reasons why Breaking Bad is so great), I bet season four begins with Jesse standing in the doorway after he's just shot Gale. I predict a neighbor, maybe a little old lady in curlers, will come out into the hallway, and Jesse will have to waste her, then shoot Victor in the parking lot.

Difference between everyone tossing around numerous different ideas, and someone flat out saying:
"Here is an article where Gilligan says it was Gale that died."
These last few episode threads have been much worse than the others all season long.

But it wasn't Gilligan's intention to deceive the audience. It wasn't a spoiler. Again, you people are thinking too much into this.
It'd be a spoiler if Gilligan said something like, "Next season we'll see what happens when Junior gets his hands on some of dad's blue magic", because that is foretelling information that hasn't happened yet. All Gilligan was doing was setting the record straight.

You are still wrong because the point of the article was to say, it WAS NOT supposed to be ambiguous. It was supposed to be clear he killed Gael.
You can't spoil something that was NOT meant to be a twist or cliffhanger.

Threads about specific episodes are automatically assumed to contain spoilers.
Edit: sorry, I now realize that you thought it was a spoiler that he actually shot gael, thinking it was open ended. I thought this was completely unambiguous and the camera motion was just to build intensity.

I'm not. I had no other thoughts after last night other than Jesses shot Gale. Others might not have seen it so black and white.

Obviously, Gilligan wrote the show and knows the outcomes already, so to him it's obvious what happened. I'm still not really sure why he needed someone to point out the fact to him that the ending could be seen as ambiguous with the camera shifting. He even acknowledges the fact that it is open-ended on how they want to pick it up with season 4.
Either way, some people obviously saw it ending differently. At least put a "possible spoiler" message in, just to not ruin it for people, whether or not they were too "stupid" to catch what was supposed to be blatantly obvious (althought the writer admits now it might be ambiguous).

Yes, they are assumed to contain spoilers about that particular episode, but not necessarily spoilers for future episodes.

I did not think anyone but Gale was shot.

I gotcha. Just don't think it is a spoiler if some people just misinterpreted it.
Really we should just be talking about how effing incredible this show is, something I'm sure everyone in this thread agrees on. WOW. Good to have Heisenberg back.

Poor frickin Gale, dude can't get a break to save his innocent soul. He get's fired by Walt to hire Jesse so Jesse could let Hank off the hook. He is then brought back and is told forcefully to learn Walt's cooking method fast, but the guy is really a harmless, innnocent, nerd type guy that has the misfortune of being a pawn in all this.
Jesse had never killed anybody up to that point I don't think, and was scared shitless just like he was when he saw Walt shoot those Mexicans, now he has done this and both their lives fall deeper into the rabbit hole. No doubt, Walt is forcing his hand with Gus, and Jesse will be on the run for awhile.
as I said earlier I still think the Cartel is gonna nail Gus' arse for that shite he set up with that Tino character, seeing those guys holding down his chemical plant let's me know some kind of war is about to break out.

Jesse definitely shot Gale.

Just watched the "behind the scenes" for "Full Measure." Gale's dead, which means that Walt just killed his family.

Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious he killed Gale.

Same here. It was a decent argument for the Jessie killing Gus, but I am glad VG put an end to that shite. It would have bothered me for the next few days.
