I am a little confused on Hank's situation after this week. I do not think he is tied to Gus or anyone else, just flat out is afraid of messing with the cartels. He thinks he is away from it at his current post, but I think he will become stuck in the middle of it sooner than he realizes where he is.
Yea what I'm thinking is first off..he was obviously insecure and suffering from aniexty attacks. Got it. So then, he trys is best to overcome this by facing his demons (fear) head on with rage (biker fight). Now, I'm a little confused as well. I believe he's finding it harder than he thought to turn the 'rage switch' off. His insecurity is eating him alive now, so he's constantly combatting it with more rage. Which leads to threating/being a douche to his partner and what not.

Do you think that Walt and Skyler will work things out? Something tells me her days with Beneke are going to be short-lived. I think being the office whore bothers her. I could be wrong, though.
I think they will get back eventually for awhile, but in the end they won't. Skylar is going to have to wake the frick up sooner or later and realize the absurdity of her actions. Walt will probably end up alone at the end of series. I don't necessarily think his family will all die though. Maybe just one member (Walt Jr. overdose?), which leads to the rest leaving.
Whenever he is alone though and finally loses everything. I think we'll see Scarface.

Gus is an honorable businesman, he is not gonna let Jesse cheat Walt.
He isn't worried about Jesse cheating Walt. He just thinks Walt is the best option for cooking.
He doesn't trust Jesse since he knows deep down he will always be an addict.
He gave Walt the money to try to get him back cooking.

the point is the guy has his head screwed on right, and he is not stupid by far, he knows that is Walt's formula! not Jesse's thus the split.
but yes, you are right about him tryin to gradually ease Walt back in. He knows his shite is the best.

I think Skylar will be drawn back to Walt, in a forbidden fruit sort of way. She pined for Ted and enjoyed the playful flirting and sexual tension between them, but I think she's going to grow tired of him now that Ted appears to be so smitten with her.
I think sad, mopey Walt is short-lived. She loves the idea of having the upper hand on Walt for now, and I think his next course of action will be to quit groveling for her and get back to what he does best -- cook the best goddamn meth in town, and this is going to draw her back to him.

I got the sense that by "doing the deal" with Jesse, that it was completely a ploy to get Walt cooking again, and Gus has no intention of ever distributing Jesse's imitation Blue Magic.

tell you what Fred, on a lite note, if fat girl behind the counter that Jesse gave the crank to would have gotten hooked on that shite, she would have lost weight in a hurry.

You really think there is honor among theives?
Jesse was involved with meth before Walt was.
Jesse learned how to cook a much better product from Walt.
If the batch Jesse just cooked is anywhre near as good as what Walt was cooking, Gus would be happy with the product.
Walt is no longer willing to cook.
If Jesse wasn't a meth head himself Gus would deal with him, cut Walt out and let the cousins chop away.

I do not disagree with this! I think she also sees the effect she's had on Walt's mental state (watching Walt play with his Cheerios at the breakfast table was pathetic yet funny) and perhaps realizes she's pretty much accomplished her goal-she's let Walt know that she's in charge. She also seemed to soften towards Walt at breakfast when Junior made the comment about him keeping Baby Holly. Didn't she actually give Walt a little smile (or at least a less-than-hateful look)? I know she flashed one to Junior.

She may actually end up running the show.

I agreed with you about him about trying to lure Walt back in, you are right, but if you think Gus is just an ordinary thief, gotta disagree.

I read a review of last night's episode that touched briefly on this. I am a little disappointed the writers haven't touched as much on the effect this meth is having on the people who use it. They barely gave two seconds to the storyline of Donald Margolis attempting suicide, which is entirely believable given his situation.
It would be cool to see exactly how the entire distrubution plays out, from Walt cooking it and giving it to Gus, Gus giving it to his dealers who give it to their street peddlers, to the junkies smoking it. That would make the scope of what Walt is actually doing seem a lot worse and would make him a lot like likeable, and maybe that is why they haven't done it.
It would have been very sad and moving had the little fat girl behind the counter become a junkie all because Jesse encouraged her to try it.

The effects of meth are not pretty. They did give a bit of a glimpse of its effects with the space case Hank and Gomie interviewed. I know for certain that it can turn a lovely young woman into a foul-looking disease-ridden skank. It is an awful drug with terrible consequences.

I think Saul's class action lawsuit against the airline/airport/air traffic controlers is going to backfire on him and cause a lot of heat to be put on Walt/Jesse/Gus.
Saul is just too greedy!

Wouldn't you like to see them show this a little bit more? I think it would level the playing field a little and make people see Skylar's viewpoint a little better. Sure, what she did was very cold, but Walt is putting his entire innocent family at risk while ruining lives in the process. He is by no means a good guy.

I'm no Saint, tried the shite myself, a guy at work gave it to me a while back, I told him I was feelin a lil tired and sluggish, he told me just put a lil bit in your coffee and drink it. I didn't feel anything until an hour later, felt a nice calm euphoria come over me, after it disappeared I didn't fall asleep for the next 2 days and was nervous as hell.
needless to say, I cursed the guy out, and told him never give me that shite again.

Last season's "Peekaboo" episode showing the world that messed up little kid had to live in was a very accurate portrayal of what it does to people. Junkies/meth heads hurt everyone who loves them. Chasing that first high is the only thing they care about.

Around 25 years ago I snorted what they called crank when I couldn't get coke.
God only knows what all was in it as guys in a trailer park in Irving, TX cooked it. No way it was even half as good as Walt's recipe.
One of my buddies was shooting up coke and crank back then. He left heading to Los Angeles on a motorcycle and we never heard from him again.

fricked up, sorry for your loss my friend, my family has a brother we think is dead, similar story to yours. Went to Cali, got hooked on heroin though, and we haven't heard from him in almost 10 years now, my mother is sick with grief. Tried locating him numerous times, but no luck.
