Breaking Bad 305 "Mas" Preview
Enjoy! Looks like Skyler wants to spend some of Walt's cash. I don't think her attorney likes the idea. That is, after all, money laundering, which I think might be a little bit illegal.

This was easily the weakest episode of the show. Nothing really felt right, and the writing was not up to snuff.
Not as intense as last week, but set things up for the next episode.

The affair between Skylar and Ted seemed forced. Walt trying to break the door down with the plant while Ted stayed inside was weak. And Ted asking her to move in with him? It didn't work for me.
I think that's the point. They're basically showing that Ted is a big puss; he couldn't deal with Walt mano-a-mano, but can bang his wife behind the scenes. He was so scared of Walt he had to have his goons physically remove him. Be a man, Ted!
The "moving in" thing was pretty bold. I know if my lover's husband just tried to bust into my office w/a big potted plant, I sure wouldn't want to piss him off more by having his still married wife shack up with me. Also, Skyler is now known as nothing more than the "office whore" and she realizes, but doesn't like this. She's detested by every woman at Beneke Fabricators. Something tells me Sky's "relationship" with Ted is fixing to turn south.

Liked the opening scene and I enjoyed the tie in later on with the ATM machine. What is it with Jesse and ATMs?
I knew Jessie's little transaction at the c-store was going to have consequences. I thought the chubby little store clerk was adorable and played her part well.

The Saul Goodman scenes were a little over the top and I don't think anyone buys into this temporary rift between Saul and Walt. Sort of cheapened the whole thing when he and Walt were wrestling around.
I thought that was kind of funny, particularly the way Mike just sat there and worked his puzzle until he realized that Walt was about the beat the fck out of Saul. I get the impression that Mike (and Gus) don't really care for Mr. Goodman. You're right, though. Walt and Saul will "kiss-and-make-up."

End of rant. A bad episode of BB is still better than everything else on television. What did y'all think?

Jesse doesn't give a frick anymore.
Jesse does give a f*#%k though, and he's clean.
Walt's might as well be on Meth. Losing his family has him wound too tight.
The writers have made the majority of the cast unlikable this season.
Walt has lost his mind.
Skyler is a whore.
Hank is obsessed with catching Heisenberg.
Saul is Saul (a money-grubbing attorney).
Mike is working for Gus while Saul thinks he's working for him.
Gus is one straight meth cooker away from letting the cousins off Walt.
Ted is the "Tiger Woods" of the fabricating world. He calmly told Syler about his daughters getting over his past indiscretions.
Straight Jesse is probably the most likable main character so far this season.
Walt Junior is the only character in the show that has not disappointed the people who care about him.

frickin Bitch, "I hate you Walt for being a drug dealer, oh wait, Meth manufacturer, but I love spending this money!"
hope the bitch goes down before him!

I think this is about to change. Either this season or next, he'll be addicted to Daddy's product.

ahhh man, don't say that, kid is already fricked up, he might do something drastic to himself and then they'll both wanna kill themselves.

I"m going to agree with those that say it was a weak episode but maybe they're laying the groundwork for bigger things. Like the ax in front of Walt's house. Walt wasn't very smooth with the principal.

quote:not for me, I was in sticthes while laughin, see some people don't get it, that's what makes Breakin Bad so great, it can be real serious, and then flips into hilarious shite like this. Walt is always believable when he loses it like the 3 stooges or Jerry lewis or some frickin body, him tryin to strangle the shite out of slummy Saul had me rolling.
Sort of cheapened the whole thing when he and Walt were wrestling around.

those guys just wanna let Walt know he's on their list, not forgotten, just put off for now, but Walt wouldn't even know wtf a symbol like that stood for, probably think it was one of the kids playin around in the street.

Dude's got more pressing matters on his mind than a little sidewalk chalk. I loved the part about them giving Walt his half even though he didn't do anything, and I particuarly enjoyed Gus saying he doesn't believe in fear as a motivator.

yeah, I know he's got shite on his mind, but he still wouldn't know or understand what that symbol means. and yeah, I liked that to about giving Walt his half, guy through the bag at him and he was like wtf
Gus is an honorable businesman, he is not gonna let Jesse cheat Walt.

Agreed. I kept waiting for all Hell to break loose and it never did.
I'm beginning to think that Jesse's time on the show is coming to an end (probably the final episode of the season). Too many problems and too close to being found out. Mike has his marching orders!

+1
This is why Gus is the man.

This. Jessie's getting too careless, and I'm sure his bitching to the bagman got back to Gus.

Gus is going to use Jesse carelessness to get Walt back in the game and in control. Walt already feels responsible for what he did to his lady friend. I do not think Jesse is going anywhere.
I am a little confused on Hank's situation after this week. I do not think he is tied to Gus or anyone else, just flat out is afraid of messing with the cartels. He thinks he is away from it at his current post, but I think he will become stuck in the middle of it sooner than he realizes where he is.

Gus and Mike are becoming my two favorite characters. Gus - a nerdy-looking drug kingpin who drives a Volvo station wagon. He looks more like a college literature professor.
Agreed. Reminds me of another well dressed level headed professional badass...

Do you think that Walt and Skyler will work things out? Something tells me her days with Beneke are going to be short-lived. I think being the office whore bothers her. I could be wrong, though.
Posted on 4/12/10 at 9:58 am to Tchefuncte Tiger
see my comment about her all over Walt for being a drug dealer, but that money sure looks good?
