exactly, i think he's a puppet master, a very dangerous one at that

Basically Walt's signed his family's death warrant, but the way this show twists-and-turns, you NEVER know what's going to happen.

I wonder if Sky's boss is still in the picture? I actually think she's been looking for an excuse to dump Walt ever since she went back to work for Ted; this meth thing was her way out.

i don't think he is, i just checked IMDB and he's listed in 2009, but not 2010 for that character.

Also, how f'ed up is Jesse, dude is not gonna be acting right for some time.

Anyone else love it when Walt Jr. ripped into Skyler? I'll admit I did a mini fist pump and gave the cliche "yea you bitch!" ha. Good stuff.
I know she in the "right" or whatever morally, but I'm obviously bias towards Walt. Walt can do no wrong.

They're referred to as "The Cousins" on the AMC website.

Here's one!

They are definitely breaking the mold of resolution from the past season's cliffhanger, stabalization, back all to hell.

I think they kinda blew their load with Skylar confronting him about the meth. The portrayal is great...especially with that camera angle. Never thought eyes could look so piercing and vulnerable at the same time. Just kinda seems jammed in there. No prior reveals in the episode that led to the conclusion...just you gotta be a drug dealer to be able to pay your own shite. Especially considering that her well thought out argument in the season finale didn't include it....she didn't get any more evidence so why now?

She could've thrown some hypotheticals at Hank during her stay. She could have also had time to reflect on the various-and-sundry events and came to the conclusion the Walt was dealing drugs.

An "analysis of income from unknown sources" is a valuable tool prosecute drug dealers. It would be very easy to bust Walt. Very easy. In addition to the drug charges he's also guilty of money laundering and wire fraud.

Sure, you can explain it. I am just saying they would have been better off fleshing the process out.

Me, too...has a subtle look ala Brother Mouzone in The Wire, but looks are deceiving.

Yeah you just know Gus is a bad, bad man. Skyler is a bitch. Even though Walt practically dug his own grave, I'm rooting for him big time to get out of this mess. Plus, the guy who killed his daughter is going to be around all season in my opinion. I've seen him in some other shows but can't think of what exactly.

I was expecting Gus to flip shite at the restaurant table when they were having a sit down to show that he had a crazy side to him, but the subtle way is just as creepy.

I am late in posting for this thread but wanted to weigh in, been watching since the first episode.

I liked the episode but there was also some filler scenes that I didn't really care for, next week looks to be more of an action/faster pace episode which I can't wait for. Walt seems to be wanting out of the drug business becuase of wanting his family back but he got in too deep just to stop like he wants. My feeling is he gets pressured by Gus and/or Tuco's cousins to keep producing meth or they will harm his family.

Finally... AMCtv.com has posted a trailer to next week's episode. I actually read four pages of dialog (4 months ago)from this episode, when my friend auditioned for the part of the cop that pulls over Walt. That being said, I won't give away anything, so you don't have to worry about me ruining next week's episode. If one of you frickers did that to me, I'd hunt you down, Tuco style....

Needless to say, my friend was crushed when he did not get the part, but kept sides from the script, so I feel like I've been holding onto a secret that only Breaking Bad nerds care about. I had already made plans to visit him on the set in ABQ when the casting director narrowed it down to him and 2 other actors...Oh well...

It's so fricking hard not to tell someone what happens, but I'll resist the temptation.

I don't know anything past this week's episode, nor do I want to. I can't believe how fast this season has started. I really don't know where the show is heading, but it's definitely going to be dark.

and this is the key to the entire show. They made the bad guy likeable. It's acutally quite amazing if you think about it.

I don't know if Walt is likeable as much as he is totally watchable.

I swear, I could watch that guy make a sandwich for an hour and be entertained.
