Who the hell watches them, other than the US, India and China?

Really.

Worst thread ever. Bond is awesome. Watch Casino Royale and Goldfinger and tell me those aren’t great movies.

Don’t get me wrong, there are shitty Bond films. Spectre was just awful. It completely ripped off Goldmember and thought that was a good idea. Waltz’s Blofeld is the most petty villain in cinematic history.

Spectre is so bad. That said, the whole series is puerile and geeky at best.

I could watch a Connery Bond film today and I've seen them all a million times.

I read the Bond novels traveling because they were small and cheap and you could just leave them on the train.

The Connery Bond films are like Canon, used up most of Ian Flemings material. The future became more just Hollywood.

If you don't like them that's fine, but are you really questioning their popularity worldwide?

Bond films are fantastic!
Each new Bond grows with the times.
Are some of the films weak?
Of course.
But they are still fun..
I'll take Timothy Dalton vs. Wayne Newton any day

Bond movies are timeless. Almost like the nostalgia of Playboy. Craig reinvigorated the series. Some of Connerys movies were a little boring, but that had more to do with technology imo. Wasn't a fan of Dalton, but liked Brosnan. Always enjoyed Moore's movies.

Still way better the crap comic-book movie cycle we’ve been stuck in for the last 10+ years.

OP is stupid. They had some turds like Die Another Day and Spectre, but some classics like Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, Goldeneye, You Only Live Twice, and Casino Royale.

Goldmember? Did Stormy Daniels play the Bond girl in this one?

The bond girls alone are usually worth the watch.
