Stellar job by a young Giovanni Ribisi….there was a lot of young talent in that cast. Very good movie IMO.

I had this on all the time in college. It's the original Wolf of Wall Street. Both based on the same story.

Who told you that?
Boiler Room is based on the writers experience interviewing with Sterling Foster. Wolf of Wall Street is based on the life of Jordan Belfort and Stratton Oakmont
ETA: I do see Belfort has claimed they ripped off his story, but of course he would, given his hubris

I was a very young broker during the late 80s/early 90s. Very fun and crazy time.
