I find it odd that people here are triggered by the fact that some us are merely pointing out how the filmmakers so obviously jammed leftist political narratives into a horror movie. Why aren't the filmmakers the douchebags for making it political?
How bout when the white guy a-hole - the one who hates gays & thinks women can't handle guns - gets drunk & proclaims "Make the Apocalypse Great Again!!!" and camera pans to the two black guys looking at each other dismissingly.

I don't know...maybe even worse than the hamfisted political themes was Sandra Bullock's rubber face & the whole "BOY!GIRL!" nonsense. Ffs she's been taking care of these kids for five years & doesn't even give them names? That's one of the most retarded plot devices i've ever seen.
Just a shite movie all the way around.
