Derek X is really well liked in that house so he will probably be the last non cookout member nominated in the house.

I was actually wondering if a cookout member wins HOH next week if they might try to backdoor him.. IMO it would be the smart play. DX is awesome at this game, well liked, and a comp beast to boot.

His only downfall so far, is he talks too much. If he would just keep to himself game talk wise, he'd be golden. The best place to be in the BB house is invited to the game talk but stfu and listen unless asked something directly.

If Kyland or X win HOH on the double and nominate him it would be really interesting, especially if he is next to someone like Claire or a CO member. It would really draw a line in the sand and cause sides to be chosen.

I think DX is in big trouble. It's easy to say this from the outside, but his move would have been to team up with Christian, not get him out. Of course, credit goes to the cookout here, because that alliance is not even a thought in the house. They each have another close member, and they are using them to get out their targets each week. I think that after this week, there are only 2-3 people in the house that wouldn't want DX up as their target. It is going to be a back door, and I think they will strike at the first opportunity.

He missed an important point. Even if it is an all white alliance, they still, you know vote out white people. They don't target opposite races.

No one has said shite about targeting based on race.

They have mentioned getting out guys to even the odds but no talk about sexism from ya'll.

Please tell me which seasons had 95% white House guests. That's like 15.2 white people out of 16.

The majority have had like 2 POC a season. lol

2 out of 16? So, about 13%, right?

that's not true. just went back to look at past cast. season 8 is the worst case with 1 POC other then that 3-4 average if not more.

BUT.....The long term effects of the Cookout are farrrrr more damaging to Big Brother and noone is talking about that specifically.

Right now its surviving because the non-blacks (lets not say bullshite like POC because its very clearly that they only care about blacks) arent completely aware of it.

But guess who are aware of it? Season 24 contestants. and 25 and 26.

Next season when CBS, by following their own decree, continue to overpopulate the house with black people, all of the white contestants will just immediately, and rightfully be on fricking HIGH ALERT.

This show builds on previous seasons. It doesnt happen in a vacuum.

Agreed.

And to make it even more ridiculous, in todays society if, for example, Christian or Alyssa were to say out loud “hey, do you think {names of all the black people} are working together?” can you imagine the reaction online? how quickly they would be destroyed and labeled, even if it was true?

So not only will it happen, it will all have to be internalized and spoken in code/very delicately for white houseguests

I think it's usually right at Jury. Like the 1st person evicted that night is either the first member of jury or the last member left out of jury. Could be wrong though.

you guys are making this about race when it's not.

just shut up and stop watching.

Derek X made a HUGE move this early and all ya'll talk about is OMG BLACK PEOPLE ALLIANCES RUINING BIG BROTHER.

The cast this year is literally 7 POC (Alyssa?) and we're already talking about the house being "over populated with black people?" That's racist as frick.

we didn’t make it about race, the cookout did are you serious?

I never said anything at all about the house being “overpopulated” and I have no problem with the makeup of this cast. I just think it’s funny they can align themselves via race outwardly.

And to reiterate, my point was players can say “hey do you think the girls are working together?” “Do you think the jocks are working together?” but it’s really hard for a player to say “hey do you think the black people are all working together?” out loud.

In fact it was just last year that Day and Bay last were complaining “wHy dO tHeY aUtOmAtIcAlLy aSsUmE wE aRe iN aN aLliAnCe?” So the point above is valid that now perceptions of race will be really prevalent in future players minds. The fact that this house hasn’t caught on SHOULD be a good thing because it shows they aren’t assuming it

and finally, don’t act like all majority/big “steamroll” type alliances aren’t pretty much always hated by fans. but again, as even just a fan you have to be delicate in wanting the cookout to “fail” because if you say so out loud, it can be misconstrued.

Actually 8 I believe, though there is internal debate in the Cookout about Derex, and none count Alyssa although she is Hispanic.

How bad-arse would it be if Christian flipped the vote.. I mean I want him out over DX but the drama would be awesome.. All he needs to do is convince the cookout.

Thank you. This thread has become fricking unbearable. It's 99% about race. I make an attempt to come back and start talking about a game move, and it's followed by the same dumb mother frickers talking about race.

Happy there are no vets

Happy the cast is older

Happy the players are, for the most part, smarter (avoided the very annoying stereotypes)

Unhappy about the campy team twist, and gameplay has been meh so far. Ready for some moves

I haven't really weighed in on the whole race thing and I've been in the thread since day 1. I treat it like any other thread, if I see a post that doesn't concern me I move on to the next post in the thread. Like it or not, race is a thing this season and people have a right to post about it if they choose too.
