also of interest is the fact that Shelby introduced herself as a waitress when in reality she is a law school grad.

Maybe she technically was working as a waitress? But I agree...she knows she sounds like a dumb chick...so she will take advantage of that.

Alex and Morgan in the storage room together both with not much makeup and glasses....they look even more alike.

Wonder how long before their secret is figured out.

The two things aren't mutually exclusive. She just finished taking the bar exam, so she technically is not a lawyer. She could actually be a waitress.

I will say this...the cast seems to be more likeable in general. Especially the guys.

Agree 100%. When they introduced the cast for 18 I hated almost everyone except Frank, though I grew to like Paul and Vic a lot, but last night I liked pretty much everyone except Kentucky girl and rocker chick. All of the guys seem like they would be cool to hang out with, even nerdy Scott had me laughing my arse off.

I hope these daily recap shows are highlight reels of the day and not just an hour of feeds.

So I haven't got the live feeds for this one yet. I really didn't want to get into the online season because I don't really have the time to get as involved as I normally do with the live feeds during the summer. But I'm already starting to be tempted. You guys are making this cast out to be pretty good, so I might relent and just get the feeds. Should I hold out a bit longer, or does this have the feel of a really good season?

I think it will be telling after HOH and the first eviction. The cast seems diverse in age and occupation, and besides the sisters and Jason there is no real "cast twist," so that will be a plus.

I have high hopes. Cast seems good. Nice diversity and fun personalities.

Also they have to be awake from 10 am to 10 pm BBT time. So it won't be a literal snooze fest like bb18

Since people missed what the HOH comp is here's an explanation:

The HOH comp is basically Shane starts with the virus. Its a spider necklace. On an alarm sound he HAS to pass it on to someone else. They then wear the necklace & a virus t-shirt. They then pass it on next, and so on. Last person left is HOH. It will end tomorrow in 24 hours.

Confirmed, there are 4 twists we take part in.

America’s Nominee Vote – The HOH will nominate two Houseguests for eviction and, for the first time ever, fans will have the opportunity to choose a third houseguest to join them on the block.

America’s Eviction Vote – In addition to the house’s eviction votes, for the first time, fans will have a say in who they would like to see go home. The nominee who receives the most eviction votes from America will receive one extra vote during the eviction ceremony.

America’s Care Package Vote – Fans can vote to send their favorite Houseguest a special advantage in the game.

America’s Have Nots Vote – America will be able to vote and choose three unlucky “have nots” each week.

This HOH seems pretty cool and something different (at least I've never seen it).

I really don't mind any of these twists, but I'm interested in if they will tell the house guests who America's vote went to or keep it a secret.

Any of y'all have any opinion of the restaurant that the one HG owns in NO? Is it a good place to eat? Popular? Anyone know the guy? I thought there would be a little more talk about him in this thread being that he's from NO , but, unless I missed it , I haven't seen one comment on him.

Is it the same music in the edits as the last 3 seasons?

Well that 8 minute recap was nice, wish it was a little longer though.

Will there be weekly episodes or is everything just live feeds?

There's a weekly episode on Wednesday that is supposed to be like a "traditional" one that goes over the whole week, followed by the eviction and HOH (show at 9, eviction at 10, and HOH at 11 is the schedule I saw).
