As much as I hate Paul, at this point he deserves to win over everyone else in the house. Alex has played a solid game, but both she and Kevin can't do anything without running it by Paul first.

at this point he deserves to win over everyone else in the house.

I hated Derrick's game while watching it. Vanessa too. I don't expect to think about this season down the road and not hate Paul or how the game has been handed to him, but I think everyone in this thread can agree that he deserves to win over his minions at this point.

everyone in this thread thinks Cody deserves to win because the house questioned his service to his country!!!!!

Paul will deserve to win IF he can survive being put on the block. If the others are that freakin' dumb to pass up a shot of getting him out then he deserves it by default. He has yet to be tested so far while they have thinned out the herd.

You got downvoted because you said Paul was top 5 player of all time, and stuck by it.
If I step up to the plate against Shady Acres nursing home and hit an in the park home run against some 88 year old's 15 mph fast ball, that doesn't make me ready for the MLB.

Exactly. Paul doesn't deserve to win when production saved him and nobody is targeting him because they are terrible game players

Then who deserves to win?

At this point, you can't really say anyone else deserves to win, because no one has done a damn thing. If someone takes out Paul, then they'll be the deserving one.

does anyone with a 3 mile head start and a map of the course deserve to win? meh

At this point ... Mark has survived more shite and won a few comps; Jason has played a decent social game but only has one win that I recall. Either of them over Paul.

Ok, i'm not going to downvote you, because at this point, it's futile.

See you don't understand how hard it is to get an entire house to do your bidding. And the rankings I just posted are completely justified.

Once his safety ended it would've been easy to take him out. He should've been the main target. He's done the work of rallying everyone minus a couple to follow every word he says and trust that Paul has them as his "ride or die." I think it's a real possibility they will turn on him once they reach the final five and realize he could beat each one of them in the vote if it came down to it. I understand the hate but it doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to win.

Agree. I fully expect him to bet out for final 5

It's super easy when, as other have continually pointed out, that 3 weeks safety allowed him to sell himself as their game guru and that he would take them all to the paradise of jury all with these idiots never even considering or even entertaining the notion he is a treat.
It's the modern day version of the Stanford experience. Production allowed Paul to be warden and choose at his whim who are jailers and who are jailed.
Edit: Nevertheless he keeps this up and makes it to final two, unless he's up against Mark. He'll deserve the win, but no way is he even a top ten player. Top 5 production assisted player for sure.

He won an HOH. While it could have been production aided, it's not like he laid in the grass during his three weeks without playing the game. Maybe that's what others in the house assumed he was doing and that's why he was able to build so many relationships so early.
Point being he made it obvious by winning an HOH early and by going to the final two last year that he is a strong player. The others in this house know this. Production isn't preventing them from targeting Paul and you can't blame or credit production for Paul being a solid social game player, regardless of how weak the house is.

Not to mention the ridiculous "friendship bracelets" which essentially gave him 8 allies right off the bat. He gave them to Kevin, Raven, Dominique, Mark, Jason, Jessica, Ramses, and Elena. Jessica and cody coupled and once that happened jessica would be a target no matter what. So of the 7 remaining built-in allies paul started the game with, 5 are left. And one of the ones gone would never have done anything in the game anyway.

Remember the other day when paul said that golden apple during the first comp for put there for him. But josh grabbed it and then paul magically got America vote for 3 weeks safety.
But yes, he legit won a HOH and is a good social player. But those 3 weeks completely took him off everyone's radar (and also a never before freedom to say whatever he wanted without consequence) except for jody.
