People assume just because you're a super fan you have to be a great game player! His social game was terrible. He wouldn't have lasted soon and still probably would have been first out even without Paul returning

What kind of confession is that?
First: isn't it understood that everyone is for the most part?

1) No. Some players are recruited by production to be on the show and their only exposure to it is the seasons that production makes them watch in sequester before the show starts.
2) Being a super fan can put a target on you because you know the show and have seen different strategies and players play the game so theoretically you could be a better player.
I don't know if there's a real correlation with being a super fan and being a good player but it can definitely put a target on your back. Johnny Mac went the whole season pretending he'd never seen the show before because of this
