the fact (and i cant find even one hint of it from twitter updates) that they havent even mentioned the idea of going after paul only makes it harder to watch.

which other HGs names havent come up in convo about being a target?

It's hard to since he's been completely off limits up until last night.

I just hope we're not rooting for Cody to come back just to watch him team up with Paul.

In an ideal situation, Cody would come right back at paul guns a blazing and take him down immediately.

In reality though, Cody isn't familiar with the current lay of the land and has no clue what's been going on in his absence, so his best bet is to just lay low for a minute and take it all in. Going further he said he respects Paul as an alpha, appreciated the game move of him getting cody out, and IIRC he told Julie he wouldn't be opposed to teaming up with Paul.

I think the most likely outcome is paul and cody working together for a time since they are CLEARLY the 2 biggest threats in the house to impose their will for a bit and trim some of the fat, then at some point one of them will be like "ok enough of that, it's go time" and they will truly form a 2-sided house.

But I'm with you, I'd love it if cody came back and instantly won HOH and got paul out.

I don't actively watch feeds but keeping up with this thread and knowing what's actually going on makes it so much better.

I've put so much stock into Cody winning the battle back I may be too disappointed to keep following if he doesn't

Yeah I assumed he'd win so much I'm starting to get scared he won't. I'm trying to prepare myself to be disappointed because him coming back has pumped me up so much. He belongs there more than the other evictees

Yeah I think we overlook that. I just assumed early on it'd be an endurance kinda comp (similar to the wall one recently) but Julie made it seem like something to even the playing field so everyone has a chance. I mean they have to realize Cody against those other 3 scrubs would be a runaway. Hopefully it's not one of the "game of chance" ones like slinging a ball to a numbered target or something. Any of those other 3 coming back into the house does absolutely zero for betterment of the game.

Honestly, even a game of chance Cody probably still has an advantage. If it's like the slingshot game, I can't see either of the other three aiming/shooting it accurately. Maybe if they do the one where they have to count things then Dom might have a chance. Anything physical that doesn't involve hanging on the wall, Cody runs away with it (then again, the bigger guys managed to hang on a while this year).

Yea. I believe that they haven't announced what the twist is and what the DOT curse is because production doesn't even know what it is yet.

They likely have several different options on which twist they want to use depending on who wins the battle back.

If Cody comes back into the house, the best thing he could do is tell Paul that he will be 100 percent loyal to him for 3 weeks. As long as Paul makes a commitment to not putting up Jessica or Cody for 3 weeks, he and Jessica will follow his lead and not put him up. Cody can say the reason for a 3 weeks agreement of safety is because that is how long Paul got when he came into the house. But, Cody would know that him and Jessica are safe regardless and if Paul backstabs him he can use that against him. Also, if Cody lets Paul take charge and lead, it will create a massive target on Paul's back

They will do whatever it takes to get Cody back in the game. You don't think production got the hint when Jess won the temptation?

They can see we want things to shake up, and I guarantee they will bend over backward to make that happen.

So do you think they make up the challenges week by week? They don't already have it all laid out before selecting people for the game?

The in-game comps I'm pretty sure are laid out ahead of time, they'd almost have to be considering how extensive the set design is.

The battle back I can easily see being done on the fly. I mean think about if they decided months ago it would be a physical comp and let's say Cameron/Cody/Ramses/and a cast-wearing Christmas were the first four out. It'd be non-watch TV and essentially gifting the comp to cody.

Been like 4 for 4 on predictions of the ones I've seen. Called the endurance comp, called Megan leaving before feeds even came live, etc.
