So this is my first season watching Big Brother. I'd never watched it at all before this, and I am kind of enjoying it/missing Survivor. So, clear some crap up for me:

1. Paul getting the 3 weeks immunity is bullshite right? I mean, the producers had to have hooked that deal up. I don't trust any reality show that does "America voting" and then it helps each storyline progress and keep the show interesting. Is this obvious bullshite? Happen constantly? It took away from my enjoyment for a few episodes.

2. Cody's strategy, while aggressive, needlessly so, was the correct one. Gunning for Paul right out of the box, or at least in the first 2 weeks was the best move. Are other players from seasons that aggressive out of the box?

3. Kevin is super old, but is playing the best game, imo. Who is "winning" right now?

4. The producers saw how popular Cody was and invented the "come back to the house" thing for him to get back in, right? Does that also happen a lot?

5. If you were married, would your wife kill you for having a crossfit superstar jump on you, straddle you, and you carry her around the house? Julie Chen would serve me when I walked out of the house.

6. How does the end of the show work? I have no idea.

7. Are watching the live feeds worth it? Who's a reputable site to check in on the feeds?

1. Yes, yes, same here.. but to be devils advocate he's keeping the game going really well between the HGs who don't seem to be that great players and if Cody comes back it really doesn't matter.

2. Yes it was. No most try not to "get blood on their hands"

3 the ones who are laughing on the sidelines while josh was putting everyone on blast in the backyard. Changes every week but if you are loved by the viewers, it helps

4. They've had it for a few years now. It's not new.

5. I wouldn't disrespect my loved ones if I was in the house and in front of the world

6. Similar enough to survivor but the final 2 is decided by a 3 challenge playoff and the winner takes who they want to the final vote
7. I read jokers updates and online big brother and this thread. Feeds have highlights too if you're busy

That's what attention-seekers who want to mine for pity and manipulate people always say. I've known a few Ravens in my time, including one in my family, and they always claim to have something that's a "mystery to doctors" that's the cause of every problem in their life, including, tangentially, their moral and ethical failings, and it can't be diagnosed much less cured and will probably kill them, but they continue to live on for 50 years somehow. I guarantee that once the stomach thing was cured and she couldn't get as much attention for it anymore she invented this mystery affliction to keep the attention train chugging along in her direction. Pity can be addictive to some people. It's not PC to say so, but I've seen it happen personally.

My first real season also.

1. Pure bullshite.
2. It would have been good if he had the support of his alliance, he went lone wolf and it backfired.
3. He is funny as hell and one of my top two favorites, the game changes daily so it's hard to pinpoint a current "winner."
4. We don't know that the battle back comp is yet so there is know knowing, but speculation is that they will gear it towards his strengths.
5. No answer, no longer married for a reason.
6. The jury votes on the winner.
7. The live feeds show a whole different game than what you see on the CBS show, if you like the show then IMO the live feeds are a must, there is so much that happens that never makes it to the normal show and it's much more entertaining. Just know the live feeds can be boring as shite sometimes and button boy makes questionable camera decisions. CBS dot com is the only place to watch the feeds and it's $6 a month so no need to look for alternate options, imo.

Sites to keep up with are jokersupdates dot com

and google reddit big brother nsfw if you want to see the nudes

This is the size of the BB burgers this year.

Does anyone eat the frozen vegatables that Xmas used on her foot?

I've watched since the first season. I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of what happened in every season or remember everyone's names like some people do though.

1. It's complete bullshite. BB suffers from a lot of production interference, but their absolute love affair with Paul and his three weeks of immunity is unprecedentedly blatant and huge as far as I can remember.

2. It was the correct strategy up until he put up Xmas as his backup once Paul's immunity got him off. He had numerous people not on his own side he could have nominated with little blowback. It wasn't going after Paul and failing due to Paul's immunity that killed him. It was putting up Paul, failing due to Paul's immunity and replacing him with his owm supposed ally that made him seem like an untrustworthy loose cannon backstabber, which is what ALLOWED Paul to weasel in with them.

3. Hard to tell in the long run. Unfortunately, like Survivor, sometimes the winners are worthy badasses and sometimes they're worthless little bitch weasels.

4. The battle back has been a "thing" for 5? seasons now. So no not a special thing for Cody

5. No. I would not insult my wife on national TV like that.

6. Just like Survivor

7. Don't know about feeds, but After Dark is definitely worth it. You get a totally different, much better, and more nuanced perspective on who the people really are, how they actually act, and what's really going to happen. Sometimes the show is accurate, but sometimes they edit together a totally bullshite narrative.

Paul was on last season and first week his goal was to get the vets out of house. He was super aggressive and nearly got booted. Unlike this season they had 4 vets, so that plan quickly fell apart and better targets appeared early to slightly make Paul a better character.

Factual, but to elaborate, Paul knew nothing about Big Brother coming in and had to be told what a back door was. What happened was, to his credit, he was a quick study, realized he needed to moderate his personality (believe it or not this Paul is chill compared to the real guy) and lay low. THEN just as, or more importantly, he entered into a Bromarriage with a player named Victor - who is the all time competition champion, LIVED on the block, and won his way back in the house two or three times - and he (Paul) successfully hid behind the target always being on his buddy Victor due to Victor's competition beast ability but gameplay naivety.

Ramses frying slop. It does appear to be more tasty than the chocolate milk/boiled version though.

What makes this show so great is it's impossible to tell who's winning this early. The best players start doing their thing later in the game. Except chilltown. They ran that house from the beginning

Yeah, I'm a fan of after dark too. Sometimes though they focus on the stupidest things when something better is happening. Barely showed dom wherever she was hiding while everyone played pool the other night. Likewise during that, something funny was happening during the pool game but they switched cameras to show what it was, they're very asleep at wheel sometimes.

And I thought all those silly bbad games were suppose to start up again. I guess we'll have to wait til the house gets in single digits.

Still GOAT season for me and made big brother a summer feature rather than dying off like most o the early 2000s reality shows.

Last year they had one pre-jury (like this one), and one post jury. Victor won them both.

I believe the buy back for BB16 (won by Nicole) and BB17 (won by Johnny Mac) both happened post jury. I don't remember any of the buy backs before BB16 (if there even was any).
