Between Netflix and Amazon Prime should I have access to most TV shows

from the last decade or so?

I'm really wanting at the very least to be able to see Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Justified, The Wire, 6 feet under from season 1.

well I pay for HBO through DTV so I should be good there, right?

Well it looks like amazon has Justified, so you've got all those things covered except for the most recent seasons of Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Mad Men S6 is a few months away, so it won't be too long before you get S5 on Netflix Instant. Might be a while before BB, but considering that you have so many other great shows you want to watch, no biggie.
