I've watched the first two seasons of Daredevil and really enjoyed both. Action sequences as well as the legal scenes with Murdock, Paige, and Foggy were really entertaining. That being said, I haven't seen any of the other Marvel Netflix seasons and have seen mostly mixed reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and elsewhere.

I watched the first half of Luke Cage and might finish it at some point. What's the board's opinion on the other shows? Worth watching or can I just jump straight into The Defenders and bide my time until season 3 of Daredevil?

Punisher was my favorite.

Jessica Jones is very good; David Tennant as Killgrave was a good casting choice.

Jessica Jones first season for sure. One of the best villains in a superhero TV series or film.

I would definitely watch Jessica Jones and Iron Fist before Defenders. I loved all 3. Some people hate on Iron Fist for some reason, but it was very good. Plus, it has

2. Jessica Jones S1
3. Daredevil S2
4. Punisher
5. Defenders
6. Luke Cage S1
7. Iron Fist S1

I haven't gotten around to Jessica Jones S2 yet, can't rank it.

If you liked the Punisher in DDS2, you should watch The Punisher. Jessica Jones Season 1 is worth the watch because Killgrave is such a good villain. You do have to wait till about episode 4 for him to show up though. The people that didn't like JJ S1 typically bailed after 3 episodes just when it was about to get good.

Most would tell you to stop where you are on LC. They shift from Cotton Mouth to a "bigger" villain for the 2nd half of the season and it's just not as good because he sucks.

The Defenders was easily the worst Marvel Netflix show when it should have been one of the best. If you do end up watching it though, you should watch Iron Fist. DD S2 and IF S1 provide most of the setup for The Defenders.

Whether you should watch IF is a mixed bag. The main character is supposed to be a bad arse martial artist but they picked the worst possible guy to play him. He has no fluidity and the fight scenes over the first half of the season are just plain bad. About halfway through he got a little better and/or they learned how to film the fights so they weren't boring, but it's never good like the fight scenes in Daredevil.

The story itself isn't bad. Madam Gao makes a good villain and Colleen Wing brings a lot more to the table than most of the other Marvel/Netflix sidekicks do.

Exactly. It started off great, then they killed off an Oscar winning actor as the villain to switch to a cartoon character bad guy.

This. Personally the main character just ruined the whole show for me. Not to mention that the IF plot is the central storyline in Defenders so it made me dislike that as well.

Daredevil 1 & 2. The rest are painful to get through.
