re: Baltar is a pimp

Watched the miniseries last night. Just as great today as it was back then

Couple of random thoughts

-I’d forgotten about the firefly class ship cameo in the first scene at Roslin’s doctors office. Awesome

-I don’t remember any later explanation of why leoben was at Ragnar in the first place?

-I misremembered how baltar got off of caprica…I thought he had stolen the old lady’s lottery number. Helo just deciding to give up his seat for baltar seems random (“I saw him on TV”) especially since he was injured

-incredible battle scene at Ragnar…the space battles were always the highlight of the show. I never did understand why it was so important to launch the raptors though they were hopelessly outnumbered and had no chance of turning a battle in which galactica wasn’t trying to escape

-Starbuck…badass
