Nothing seems to be random in BB. People have broken down that speech into interesting theories.

3 people vying for a "win"
"Blue" berry pie
1 contestant can't stomach it anymore and is out
1 has a lot riding on it (the bets placed) so they try to cheat to win (and it kills them)
1 is use to winning (using logic and reason) and is surprised that he is not
Badger tells Jessie he is going to miss the rest of the story
Jessie gets up and leaves the room when Badger explains that Kirk is out

OR

Jessie is Kirk - no thanks i'm done with this.
Hank is Spock- how the hell/who the hell is running this meth business (looking suspiciously at Chekov)
Walter is Chekov - seemingly pulling off the impossible but his greed and appetite will destroy him from the inside.
Heisenberg is Scotty - what allows walt to do what he does, but what kills walt in the end.
There are many other theories, I wouldn't put it past the writers to incorporate the story somehow.

I love how Skinny Pete calls him out on the details.
