I watched this last week. He had me rolling with the R kelly stuff, MJ, and Osama. See, Dan is a man of principle. He has to draw the line somewhere. He drew the line at A THOUSAND KIDS?"

"let's go to the radio. we've got dan greenblat. "I don't know what the outrage is, it's not like it was a thousand buildings"

Constantly circling back to Dan Greenblat was hilarious. Also just a perfect name for it.

Dan is actually real

Agreed and I used to really like his standup comedy. Colin Quinn's specials on Netflix are incredible though!

Who in the world brings their 10 year old to an adult stand-up special?

That kid probably only understood about 20% of the stuff Ansari was saying.

I really liked it, but hated how he would go from so quiet to screaming in seconds. I felt like I missed chunks of the quieter parts.

Probably someone that just watched him on Parks and Rec.

Reminds me of how Donald Glover used to start his standup by going “if you came here looking for Troy Barnes than get the frick out”

Watched this yesterday. Give it a solid B.

For some reason I really liked the story about his girlfriend and the guy on the street saying she must get a lot of free cab rides.

Just watched it. Honestly one of the more enjoyable hours of TV content I’ve seen in a long time. It’s not 100 percent a comedy show so it’s an odd scale to put it on if you’re expecting that, but it was honestly just refreshing to watch. The lines about everyone being preprogrammed to respond a certain way is so goddamn true.

Also my stomach sank when he talked about how many times you’ll have to see your parents. That was a gut wrenching way to put it.
