It's a little easier in comics when your star is illustrated vs TV when it's an actor paid millions.
Not sure if it was mentioned but was Merlyn hinted to be revived by the pits after season 1?

As much as Amell has meant to the success of Arrow (and Flash for that matter), I don't think there is anyway that the showrunners kill him off.
Plus the second Green Arrow in the comics is around 5 years old on this show (his illegitimate son).

I don't think they have hinted at it yet, but I think there is going to be a Malcolm centric episode that will include a flashback for him which could show him being revived. Although if he was revived by the Lazarus Pits, it would've had to be done in secret without Ra's knowing about it.

i thought i remember malcolm mentioning the pits in regards to ra's being above death. i cant remember when he said that though.

Yeah I can't imagine Oliver being dead. Would be stupid for the show haha. That's not even in my realm of my thoughts.

i hope hes dead but comes back from the pits. most think he isnt dead and will just be out of commission. i think it would be cool for the character to experience death and the after effects of the lazarus pit

When I said dead I meant killed off the show.
I just hope they don't get too out there in how they bring him back and stuff.

Oh, I'm all about a Lazarus Pit resurrected Oliver. That would be awesome.
Although with that said, them playing up the after effects would be interesting for a couple of episodes, but they'd probably drag it out for the remainder of the season which would get old (like they did with marakuru Roy last season).

i wonder what the long term plans for Ray are. like he suits up and becomes a hero. sure. but how will that fit into the show long term wise. will there be team atom and team arrow? will Ray just always be in the background helping? will they share the spotlight? itll be interesting to see where they take his character. just dont make the same mistake that they did with Roy in promoting him too fast and having him be the most worthless character.

I thought that iZombie has already been picked up.
I read an interview awhile back where one of the showrunners talked about another superhero showing being batted around for the CW that would be in the same universe as Arrow & Flash. I don't know whatever became of it, or if anything has yet.

There have been a few hints that he might have been revived with the Lazarus Pits. When he revealed himself to Moira for the first time in season 2 he said something along the lines of "In some parts of the world death is an illusion, I've been there". But no there hasnt been anything said that definitively states whether he was Lazarus'd or not.
Also someone pointed out that in season two he had this green pendant on him, maybe it holds some of the liquid from the Lazarus Pits in it.

No doubt...Other than minus a lung, whatever other damage was cause by being impaled by a 3 ft sword, and falling maybe 60 feet to a rocky cliff.
