Didn't get a chance to watch any yesterday, but I'll update the thread as I hit certain episodes or milestones (like finishing seasons). I wish I could watch that shite at work...it'd be much easier here (computers don't play DVDs).

Ah ok. I'm anxious to see your thoughts towards it as it progresses.

Almost done with season two...have about 4 episodes left.
It's definitely getting over the top, so I can see why some people could gripe about that. It almost seems like they try to get as outlandish as possible in erms of storylines and plot points (even jokes). That being said though, it's still awesome and the gf and I are really enjoying it a lot.
I did think the second season started off a little weaker than the first, and is weaker overall (still great, just not AS great). But certain episodes (like the "Good Grief" one) are top notch though.
And the doctor is making me laugh my arse off. When Buster loses his left hand to the seal, and this happened:
Doc: "He's gonna be all right."
Bluths: "That's great, there's no way that can be negative..."
Doc: "I don't know why you're celebrating...he lost his left hand, so he's gonna be all right."
I just about pissed myself.
And not that it matters TOO much, but please try to limit season three spoilers as much as possible. Preesh.

We finished season three/the series last night.
All in all, I loved the series...
Season one was greatness, and the funniest IMO.
Season two got a little out of hand with the storylines (the most ridiculous being Maebe's movie studio gig), but it was still funny. And though some of the storylines were odd, I still was curious and interested in how they were going to play out.
Season three started off relatively weak, but it ended really well IMO. The last episode or two were very funny. I thought the final episode was great.
I'd definitely recommend the show to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, and though I wish I had been onboard with this show from the start, it was nice to be able to watch them on DVD pretty quickly.
So now, feel free to bring up any issues or discussion about any aspect of the show, as spoilers are now allowed in here (if anybody even still cares anyway

Season 2 was the best IMO, though season 1 gets better after watching the series all the way through
You now have to watch it all over again to pick up on 100's of jokes you missed the first time

Glad you bumped this. I think AD more than any other show has had moments that I have to pause it to catch my breath I'm laughing so hard. Just a fantastic show.

Started it a week ago myself and I frickn love it. This show is right up my alley in terms of presentation and execution of humor. I don't know how I went this long without giving it a chance.
Another reason to

The gf and I do this a lot now. Lindsey's is pretty strong as well (and it's in your gif too).

No way you caught them all, I've seen every episode like 6 times and still catch new things. Season two is full of joke foreshadowing and things you wont catch until the second or third time.

Obviously you're not a golfer...I was joking.
However, I don't feel the need to go back and rewatch all of the episodes again. So let's just say that I got enough of the jokes..

I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.

"Arrested Development: Ready, Aim, Marry Me (#2.10)" (2005)
Tobias Fünke: [after Michael asks Tobias to buy a tape recorder to record conversations of himself speaking] You know, Michael, perhaps I should buy you that tape recorder. Do you have any idea how often you say the word "afraid"?
Michael: Well, I know I did in the jacuzzi.
Tobias Fünke: And I apologize for that. I thought it was a pool toy.
Michael Bluth: [looking at a gift basket Michael received] Didn't you get one of those, too? You bought Lindsay at the same auction.
Tobias Fünke: I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.
Michael Bluth: There's so many poorly chosen words in that sentence.
Narrator: On the next Arrested Development, Tobias listens to a day's worth of his own recordings to see what Michael was referring to.
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] Even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up!
Tobias Fünke: [out loud] Nothing wrong with that.
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] I've been in the film business for a while but I just cant seem to get one in the can.
Tobias Fünke: [out loud] Context...
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] I wouldn't mind kissing that man between the cheeks.
Narrator: And he realizes there IS something distinct about the way he speaks.
Tobias Fünke: [out loud] Tobias... you blow hard!
Tobias Fünke: Michael, you really are quite the cupid. You can zink your arrow into my buttocks any time.
Tobias Fünke: Michael if I may take off my pants and pull my analrapist stocking over my head, I think George Michael may be suffering from what we in the soft-sciences call "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder", or the "The O.C. Disorder".
