I’m not British so some of that is going to go over my head. I don’t pay attention to British politics or their culture generally other than broad strokes.
But the sketch and opening monologue got a couple chuckles from me.
I’m sure it will piss off American Trumpers because they don’t like to be made fun of (who does?). Unfortunately, they are such rich fodder.
And that’s fine. Go make fun of them. But that shite gets tiresome so I hope they have more in the bag. Though I will say the first sketch was more an indictment on Starmer than Trump.

British humor has not evolved. Some of it, like Monty Python, has stood the test of time. But most of it is just the same corny shite that they were doing 50 years ago. I can't get into it.

There is a 40 year study done by the fricking heritage foundation that proves this is absolute bullshite. Yep a fricking polling tax with 13 billionaires in this cabinet lol apparently taking another 30 dollars for an ID is very important to Trump.
Funny thing about all this I think it’s gonna affect dumb poor MAGA quite a bit. The guys who have already had SNAP cut from $150 a month to 20, or maybe their insurance or utilities went up, maybe tariffs whatever their issues they will have to pay a poll tax now.
