I did wonder if the part about Johnny Carson calling Lorne was roughly accurate. Carson and Milton were fairly despicable as portrayed.

Third, I thought the overall pacing an ensemble work was outstanding. It's not about being 100% historically accurate, but recreating the tension Lorne would have been feeling that night. I think it accomplished that.
Can't say how much I was impressed with this film. I now wish I would have seen it in the theater, which would have made it even better.
But I say this with no hyperbole, this film should be nominated for a slew of Oscars, yet it clearly hasn't.
The ekad actor playing Lorne was great, as was the rest of the cast. I actually thought the Aykroyd guy was the best out of all of them. The guy who played Chase was fantastic.
I was actually most impressed with the cinematography and lighting and set and art design, and pacing and even the music. Overall, the direction was superb.
I think this actually may be the best movie I've seen this year. I will defiantly watch again soon.

I thought it was great. My daughter loves it. It was her favorite movie of 2024. Hard to believe it bombed.
