Can anyone recommend any movies similar to this? I just love old fashioned detective movies
Well certainly go see The Orient Express from 2017 if you haven’t. This is basically the sequel.
Not a ton of these kinds of movies in the modern era but Knives Out is excellent.
Clue from the 80s is a satire version of this kind of movie. Highly recommend. There’s also a lot of older movies that fit this bill if you are open to older movies, including the originals of these films but also stuff like Sleuth and Murder by Death. These are all much more aloof/fun types of movies for the most part which was pretty much a dead genre for a few decades so the options aren’t that deep.

Haven't seen Knives Out yet or Crooked House. I've seen Murder On the Orient Express and Murder By Deat And have seen Clue many many times.

Saw it Friday. Pretty decent flick. Love the detective. Was not happy with the end.

I didn't care for the ending either but I assume they were following the book for the most part. Hope we get another one.
