Actually, I thought LSU should win the game and was scared it would be comfortably.
I knew Ohio State could compete, but thought in my better judgement that LSU would win.

The way I read it was that he intended to hit him, and didn't realize that he couldn't till the end. So he swerved at the last second and lost control of the bike.
The prior stunts were planned.

I thought the same thing. It wasn't exactly a one or the other situation.

it def was over hyped, but for reasons we understand. but saying it didnt impress you is just wrong. i personally know i will like pineapple express more than tdk but it was still an amazing action movie and one of the better batmans/ super hero movies i have seen

I'd like someone to pull up some quotes of people saying that TDK was the best movie ever made, because I read most of the stuff on here after it came out, and the most I saw was it was the best comic book movie ever made, which it is.

I've never made a post saying LSU is the best football program in the world, but I sure as hell believe it and its probably pretty obvious to anyone reading my posts that that is what I think.
And besides, even saying that its ONE OF the best movies EVER MADE is still overhyping it IMO.

You do realize that's just your opinion, right?
I've already said I think Batman Begins is better. But that's just my opinion.

No, it's not. But I could care less if you don't think so.

you can improve the direction/camera angles of the fights
thats a style. You just dont like the style.
you can take away the un-climactic final battle
you can add more actual interaction between batman and his 2 foils, which TDK sorely lacked
take away the multiple twists. 1 or 2 was enough
sure hasn't stopped people from seeing it, now has it

The whole point of that was to show "no matter what you do The Joker is always 2 steps ahead of you". It was part of the plot and it worked IMO.
I was going to mention that but SFP wants to complain about camera angels and whatnot so figured it would have been a waste of time.

one was a brcik wall.
one was a overturned wreckage of a 18wheeler.
ONE is obviously sturdier than the other

Just got back from seeing it. There was a time in the movie that I thought it was over and I really did not want it to end. Then at the end I thought it was about 10-15 minutes too long. VERY, VERY GOOD movie, but not the #1 movie of all time, not even close.

It wasn't something that made me dislike the movie. It was just one of those scenes in a movie where you think "well, that could have been played out a little better..."
I mean, he had just proved how capable his bike was. Yet, with seconds to make a decision, he didn't...
and went straight into a parked car.

I thought he just used the wall to turn around in that scene, no?
Posted on 7/27/08 at 7:26 pm to BuckeyeFan87
was he and Gordon not trying to catch the Joker?

Without Ledger, I don't think I really would have enjoyed this movie much at all.
I agree. I only went to see it because of him.

You are a female and still went to see a movie about a comic book guy named Batman though. It is a positive for the movie.......right?
Posted on 7/27/08 at 7:32 pm to Palm Beach Tiger
It's not enough to make me see it again and again and again like Titanic was.

Every female I know who went to see the movie did so because of Ledger.
Female here----definitely didn't love/see the movie just because of Ledger. I loved the first batman and loved this one even more. The plot and constantly changing villains and people in danger kept me guessing. Although it was simply draining and a tad on the long side, my expectations were likely surpassed on what I thought this movie could have been. Definitely a FAR better way to pass 2.5hrs than seeing Sex and the City (which I didn't see).
