I heard it bombed at movie theater, but is really a good, funny movie. And family friendly, with a couple dirty type jokes

Also, the person who was talking about it, said that a big reason it flopped, is that people thought it was a wrasslin movie. Which wrasslin is in the movie, but it's much more than that.

I saw it. It cost $10 million to make and made $40 million at the box office. It did alright.

Slight correction. It is actually, "Fighting With My Family."

Took my family to see it when it was in theaters and we all really enjoyed it. Would certainly recommend.

Watched it last weekend. I really liked it. I’m familiar with Paige so it was pretty cool to see all that stuff I knew play out.

And family friendly,

Paige isn't the most family friendly wrestler. At least, not if you include her extracurricular activities.

For some reason I assumed this was one of those "Jesus loves you" movies like I CAN ONLY IMAGINE or that Kirk Cameron crap.

I've seen the movie and the documentary it is based off of and both are good watches. Fighting With My Family has a very solid cast, even though it was made on only 10 million dollars.

Of course you have to expect some movie magic with it. In real life I don't think Paige had ever met Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson until he told her he was going to produce a movie based on her. Paige was also one of the most experienced girls in the training program so she was highly respected by the other trainees, quite a few of whom had wrestled her on the indie circuits.

I am surprised they didn't have Becky Lynch in the movie in a supporting role. She has acting experience and the Knight family helped get her back into wrestling after Becky retired due to a serious head injury.

Watched it tonight after reading this thread. I skimmed over it without even considering before, but I agree, it’s worth the watch. I was pleasantly surprised.
