You should give the show Barry a try. It's kind of half comedy/half drama. Episodes are only 25-30 minutes long, and you'll figure out whether or not the show is for you after watching the first few.

I highly recommend the HBO non fiction series “‘Gentleman Jack”‘ about Anne Lister a lesbian in 1833 Great Britain. The British actress Suranne Jones absolutely nailed that role and it was very well done all around. The supporting cast does a great job too.
