Even people who hated the prequels loved the Darth Plagius book

God damn Lucas for that one.

Again I'd like to point out that you're talking about the hack director and not the fanboy poster.

He is just an immature person with great power and no discipline.

Darts Plagius and Darth Sidious spent months in meditation trying to shift the force out of balance toward the dark side. They succeeded but the force reacted by creating the chosen one to bring balance back to the force. The force being skewed toward the dark side is why the Jedi's power was diminished in the prequels, as mentioned by Yoda.

This. It was mostly Darth Plagius's work though. It's believe no one has ever studied the force as in depth and had a greater knowledge of the force than him. Though he was a dark lord of the Sith, I think he dedicated his life more to academics than just being an evil dark lord. He allowed Sidious to break the rule of two and take on his own apprentices for fricks sake.

I always felt this was the answer.

Then again if you look at SW, all the skywalkers have fell to the darkside, then returned to the light, a feat that Yoda said was uncommon amongst the force.

I'll never understand the hate for midichlorians. I mean is it the name that bothers people? The fact that it was being explained to Jake Lloyd's goofy little arse? I mean I like the explanation. Honestly it made sense. Was it necessary to say it? Maybe not, but I felt it gave some clarity to exactly what gives some beings the ability to use it and others not.

You know, for the all of the hate the prequels get (justifiably so), they weren't horrible films every second of the way. There are sprinkles of good action, great music (Duel of the Fates is the best piece of music in any Star Wars film and I will lightsaber duel anyone IRL who says otherwise), and solid storytelling through exposition as well. Now, having said that, I realize that 80% of those movies were bad to outright terrible, but the idea of midichlorians and their role in The Force is not in that 80%

But that's just my opinion.

ETA: Plagueis definitely created Anakin. Whether or not he meant to or was aware of his creation is unknown.

I believe he did. He was said to have created life and how fitting would it be that he created the sith that would end up killing his apprentice Darth Sidious.

Another fun fact: Plagueis was able to convince Sidious to kill his family. That's some pretty f*cked up sh*t.
