Bump for discussion
Since just about every show has aired at least once, I have to say that there are too many good shows and it's going to be damn near impossible for me to keep up with all of them

Good bump.
Off that list you put up, which shows do you recommend over the others?
I saw the first episode of Kill la Kill which I liked and I've seen the 1st season of Freezing, so those will probably be two that I will check out.

My top 5 at this point would probably be:
Kill la Kill
Kyoukai no Kanata
Outbreak Company
Log Horizon
Samurai Flamenco
Honorable mentions go to IS2, Valvrave 2, Strike the Blood, Kyousougiga, White Album 2, and Golden Time
Even narrowing the list that much was really hard

So lately I've seen
Soul Eater - Fun series with likable characters.
Guilty Crown - Code Geass without any interesting characters, coherent story, or well written dialogue. Looks and sounds nice though.
Another - A great mystery/thriller show. Only 13 episodes.
Mirai Nikki - Probably my favorite show I have seen lately. A lot like fate/zero but with more blood and a slightly worse 2nd half.

I've heard that the story is a complete clusterfrick, but I'll probably get around to watching it eventually

One of my favorite shows and one of the first shows I watched this summer

I finished watching FMA Brotherhood about a week ago. I liked it but was a little let down by it. Most people I know who have seen both FMA series like Brotherhood more, but that's not the case for me. Brotherhood just felt rushed and childish in comparison to the original series. Fuhrer Bradley was more of a badass though, so that alone made it worth the watch.
I also power watched Psycho-Pass over the week. It's kind of like Blade Runner meets Ghost in the Shell (made by same company that did GITS). It's a bit dark and depressing, but definitely worth a watch. Originally I thought the ending was rather lame, but then I did some research and they are coming out with a film and second season.

The original is definitely darker but I prefer most of the characters in Brotherhood. Kimblee, Bradley, and Greed were all superior to their FMA counterparts. I also prefer the ending and Father to FMA's ending and Dante.

If you don't mind crude humor, I'd suggest taking a look at NouCome, which is another one of those shows with a long arse title. Some of the multiple choices in the first episode had me rolling
That definitely interests me. Sad no real group has picked it up yet.

Last night I stayed up late watching 4 of these shows, and I liked all the ones I watched.
"Raishin Akabane. Japanese puppeteer."
"Yaya. Likewise."
"No. Totally different."
"Yaya. His wife."
Not my favorite of the shows, but the characters and premise are interesting enough to where I'll check it out.
Gonna watch some of the other shows today.

Kill la Kill
quote:Probably my favorite out of all the shows I watched. This one is gonna be really good. Sucks that I have to wait for each episode to be released.
Kyoukai no Kanata
quote:The same setting as SOA, but hopefully this one's story doesn't fall off in the 2nd half. The three main characters are great. They didn't give much info as to the story in the first 2 episodes.
Log Horizon
quote:Yaya is hilarious.
Unbreakable Machine Doll

I love the UMD manga and the story gets a lot better as it progresses, so I have high hopes for it, depending on how they pace it. And for sure, Yaya is definitely hilarious. Her interactions with Sigmund later on are pretty good too.
And the other 3 are in my top 5 of the season as of this moment. I hate having to wait every week for a new episodes but luckily they're all 2-cour so we'll get them for a good 6 months

Yeah it's a bummer, but the CR subs aren't too bad. I'm keeping my sub up because I can't torrent anything because of stupid University regulations and such, which is a real pain in the arse for a lot of the English licensed shows

I just like to have HQ video and for a group to actually sub the OP/ED.

I know it sucks. Despite the fact that I could easily circumvent it, if I got caught I could end up getting expelled; which just means I'll be torrenting like crazy when I go home in a few weeks
