But you just cherry pick what episodes (files) you want to download. You don't have to wait till it's all downloaded in order to watch them.

You seen Evangelion 3.33 yet? There are Japanese blurays for sale on amazon prime, but looks like no english subtitles. And it's pretty expensive.

Nope, not yet. I'm waiting for the official release stateside.

I heard it isn't as good as 2.22, but I never thought it would be. 2.22 is perfect.

I ever show you the framed posters I have in my room for Evangelion?

The 2.22 one is badass. I plan on getting one for 3.33 but I haven't seen any that fit my tastes.

Amazon if I remember correctly. The 1.0 one is the Korean movie poster.

This is the best I can find for 3.0, but I'm still not sure about it.

I recall seeing some of it in the past and not being too high on it. Outside of Evangelion, mech anime hasn't really been my thing.

It has been a while, so I'll give it another shot, but I have other shows ahead of it.

My recommendation will never be watched and be forever in the "someday category".

There are too many damn shows. I start one and then find another 5 that sound good.

Alright, so, I tried.

I watched an episode and it just isn't my thing. I'm not big into the style of animation. It just wasn't doing it for me.

To each their own.

Was animation the only critique? Each episode covers a new patient and disorder.

My main complaint is the animation, but I'm also not into the shows that are extremely "Japanese," if that makes sense.

Kemonozume has a somewhat similar art style, at times, and I can handle it because of the story.

I do understand, but outside of being set in Japan, there is really nothing Japanese about it. It covers psychological disorders and mental disorders that plague every country across the world.

Now, I do know that it's not for everyone and I'm not trying to make you feel bad or anything. That said, all of the awards the show has won are very deserved and I do recommend you revisit it later to see if you can handle it.

Does it? I know Trapeze uses a weird combination of animation, rotoscoping, and real imagery and video.

Well, the animation is the only aspect which I felt was somewhat similar. It doesn't have the rotoscoping or real imagery. I was just trying to think of a series that took a little longer to get into because of its different style.

I'll give Trapeze another try. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood.
