In Andy Kaufman's final act, he will be inducted into a Hall of Fame OF A WRESTLING PROMOTION HE NEVER WORKED FOR

Andy, are you locked in the punch?

Are there Vegas odds on if Andy is going to show up for this?

Depends on if Bob Zmuda appearing as Tony Clifton counts as an Andy appearance.

Never understood why it’s taken this long.

Probably because he was never in WWF, and they don't own the Memphis tape library

Yet King Kong Bundy and Lex Lugar are still waiting. (KKB in that big ring in the sky).

They were both screwed by timing because

1. WWE doesn't like putting more than one deceased person and waited too late for Bundy.. he probably would've been inducted in 2019 but died a month before WM.. will eventually get added to the Legacy category.

2. Luger is in terrible shape and they don't like bringing out people in bad condition, and the Hall of Fame is just a gimmick, honestly a joke and part of the gimmick is not making people feel sad for the person on stage.

The most Andy Kaufman thing of all would be for him to show up in person to accept the award.

Muta worked WCW, they own the library and basically consider WCW part of WWE now.

Plus his last match show at the Tokyo Dome was a huge success and Flair really wanted him in.

That hall of fame is a bunch of bullshite.

But he did a lot to get eyes on the business, and helped Lawler get on TV to where they could have their bit in front of the country.

That's more than Pete rose did for the business.

Neither Lex nor Bundy were in particularly good graces with Vince either IIRC.

Lex in particular burned a huge amount of bridges in how he left for WCW then how he acted in WCW in the dying days of the company.

Is he going to make it in before Jerry Lawler?

Luger was working with the company in 2011, they could've brought him in at some point in the last 12 years before his health really deuterated.

And come on with the bridges.. Bruno and Warrior both ended up in the Hall of Fame and Bruno basically went on Donahue and called Vince a steroid rapist

It's really weird they've never offered Cyndi Lauper, her & Mr. T are easily in the top 5 if not 3 celebrities that were significant important factors in wrestling becoming mainstream. Tyson, Trump and maybe Rodman are probably the other three.

Lex had an A&E Biography episode last year. You'd think he would go in at some point soon.
