Wade is fantastic, but to me he's just another Mumford and Sons. He's really good, but already exists. He will go far, and could win, but I like Uche because of his showmanship to go with his voice.

Laine is just someone who I like because of his story and how far he has come.

Also, in the name of complete transparency, Wade pissed me off when he didnt know Pearl Harbor was a real fricking military base and not just a movie.

Mrs Voodoo and I said the same thing

I can only hope he was just playing up the “never left my small town” role and said something overly dumb.

My favorite is easily Alejandro. I won’t even include him in my top 5 because he’s just too good.

I’d put Ashley Hess and Evelyn Cormier, who I both like a lot, as clearly the top girls.

The guys filling out my top five are Wade, Jeremiah (gay red head), and Logan (addict kid).

I really like Ryan as well. Has a voice that you just don’t expect from that face. Reminds me of Elliot Yamin.

I do think Uche is great but he may not be everyone’s cup of tea and may overdo it with the theatrics and get voted out like Ada Voss last year, although Uche is better.

The Eddie Island guy also has potential if he just chills out and stops being a weirdo.

This is definitely a guys season though. So many great guys with only a couple of girls with a shot to win it imo.

The talent of the top 10 of these remaining 20 is maybe the best in the history of the show. Probably is. May be the best in any of the musical reality shows.

I'm guessing The Voice is still kicking AI's arse in the ratings, but if people had invested the time to watch this unfold in comparison to the other show, this one is special.

I know the judges have been hit pretty hard in the past and I've done my share, too, but I do like the way they genuinely seem to care about this group of talented artists. Several very moving things have happened this season and even from the beginning with a couple of the original songs during the auditions.

I guess at this point I like Uche' the most because I honestly don't know what he's going to do next and that unknown excitement of what he may do puts him on another level. Many are so close, but I guess next is the gay ginger boy, but he needs to let up on his parents. How awkward would it be if they ever show up to the show? Maybe give him back his broom?

Wife and I have been watching both, and while Blinds on the Voice took precedent on viewing before AI, our focus has shifted completely. AI is now must-watch for us. We get to the Voice when we can.

I haven’t watched the top 20 solo performances episode yet, but what is the point of it?

I don’t believe anyone is being cut right? Is it just to to get them critiqued one last time before it counts? Kind of like gaining experience on stage?

Those are my favorites.

But honestly, I like almost all of them.

Oh shite forgot about Laci Kae for the girls, good call

I always liked her but was waiting to be blown away and man she did it with that take on I Want You to Want Me. Holy hell what a great performance. She could definitely be a contender if she keeps bringing it like that.

Wife and I were laughing about how contestants used to pretty much just sing the songs karaoke style for like the first 10 seasons

Now these musicians do these great arrangements with new takes on the songs and it’s just so much better.

Who was the first to do that? Was it Adam Lambert?

David Cook singing Billy Jean with a different arrangement was one of the first times watching the show where the hair stood up on my arms.

Oh man those were both outstanding

We kept David Archeletta’s version of Imagine on our DVR until we had to swap boxes years later and watched it pretty regularly

My favorite moment ever was Angie Miller during solo round of Hollywood week singing her original song on piano.

The judges were so surprised at how amazing it was they couldn't contain themselves.

Hate how the judges are trying to make Lane a thing .. got him into the top 14...

He’s ok but def a few tiers below the elite in this competition

He's better than the 3 that went home. The right people with through, imo. The other 3 were very forgetable. I literally just finished watching this episode and I can't remember a single one of the ones of went home names.

Lane will make it to top 5,btw

Mad World was epic, but I liked his version of Ring of Fire the most.

Uche has me excited to watch each episode for the same reason Adam Lambert did...

because I honestly don't know what he's going to do next

...as someone mentioned above.

Have to agree that this is probably the deepest top 20 I can recall and will definitely be the strongest top 10 ever. I was shocked by some of the people that didn’t make the top 20. At least 4 or 5 they sent home were ones that I thought were slam dunks for the top 20.
