Does anyone have any inkling as to where they are going with this story. The producers lean very far left so I am surprised to see them showing a lefty SJW character in such a bad light - unless the whole purpose of the show is a "irrational fears turn us into republicans" type of message (she already has turned to carrying a gun).

Toward the end of the second episode I found myself growing weary of the whole "am I crazy or is this happening" line. While I love Sarah Paulson the character is getting pretty close to being a 1 trick pony.
On another note, anyone else find it a little tough to believe a couple as "left" as they are would own a restaurant called The Butchery and actually be able to stomach serving RED or meat in general. Would be more believable watching Allison Pill whip up some quinoa and kale at Butterflies and Daffodils......

She shot the guy suspected of killing the other guy at the restaurant. She will claim self defense and that he was trying to break in. This will progress the alt right storyline of immigrants being violent. Paulson's character will be touted as a hero by the alt right people.

I'm liking it so far. So far I think you all that are seeing a particular political slant may be missing the point. At this point it seems to be making fun of the extremes on both sides which I enjoy.
