Alien Covenant - its a good movie

Oh cool thanks, I hadn’t heard about this movie.

Liked.

I thought it was pretty decent, definitely don't understand the hate it gets. That being said I was greatly disappointed in the fact that we didn't get to see much more of the engineers.

Thanks. I will watch it. I wanted to see it in the theatre win it came out, but never got around to it. To me, the first one, Alien, is still the best one of them all. Prometheus was rather good, too.

Because 75% of the movie is inchoherant ramblings about the nature of man. All that shite sucked. The only stuff I really liked was the stuff at the end with the xenomorph. There was a good movie in there buried under a ton of shite

I never watched it but let me guess....

All but a couple of people die by an alien.

i was thinking the same but then if you think about it, they were portrayed as omnipotent beings who (for whatever reason) were determined we had to be exterminated as an experiment that had gone bad.

so how could they do much else but "end" them if we are to survive?

what i thought "might" have been a better take was to make the story he didnt kill her on purpose but it was some sort of an accident in space maybe and then he decided to create the weapon and do what he did in her honor for saving him. but then maybe that may have been just as lame

it just seems she got lost and they didnt have any idea what to do with her

I enjoyed it but I'm a major Alien apologist.

that was a little strange that 15 minutes after 70% of the crew dies, 2 of the last 4 people alive decide to go have hot steamy shower sex just minutes after all their close friends just met a gory death.
