Based on Christoper Isherwood's 1962 novel, this film follows the day of a man who recently lost his lover.
Stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, and Matthew Goode. I thought this film was beautifully shot, but it sacrificed a tight narrative as a result. It could have been great if it was able to balance the lyric and the narrative elements. Anyone else seen this? Thoughts?

I love character driven, indie films that don't rely on happy endings. That being said, this was one of the most morose movies I've seen in a long time.
Excellent performance by Colin Firth, though.
