Nope no one can explain. Drogon is massive by the end.

Also, in season one it took them forever on the king's road. Season 7? Arya makes it form near King's Landing to Winterfell in about 8 minutes.

I'm rewatching and am on season 7. The first 4 seasons are spectacular. Season 5 is good enough. Starts falling off big time in 6.

7 is terrible. Missendai and Grey Worm plot is awful. Yara sucks. Sand Snakes are terrible. You take all of that shite out and focus more on Jon, Bran, and Dany, and maybe show Dany's descent into to madness instead of the WTF moment, and it could have been such a better ending.

About the only thing I am liking right now is Sam in the Citadel, and it's a sahme that it is so glossed over.

Gendry’s running a marathon at 30 mph back to the wall in freezing temps
The raven traveling at Mach 2 to get to Dany on Dragonstone
Dany traveling at Mach 2 to get north of the wall
Wights carrying chain length around for no reason
Jon not hopping on Drogon

Just pure direwolf shite

By the end, Grey Worm is one of my least favorite characters on the show. BUT, we did get one really nice scene with Missendei

I will say, the episode that starts out with Sam at the Citadel cleaning pots and gagging was a pretty great intro. That actually had me laughing pretty good.
