I found a copy 10 years ago on Ebay but it was just some guy who recorded it on VHS and transferred it to DVD.

The sound was abysmal; barely could hear anything. Picture grainy at best.

Why can't the BBC restore that miniseries to its original glory? I don't get it. Do they think its controversial like Song of the South or something just because of British Imperialism?

I could say yes and leave it at that, but that would be too easy and I would never joke about that.

The truth is that I have a job and a family and don't have time to watch all of them right now.

The other reason is that they are not all available.

Rich Man, Poor Man was a really good one, but a little before these in the late 70's. Lots of big stars and Emmy nominations.
