Wife asked the same thing, why pay for a bodyguard when the guy you hired the bodyguard for, is dead? Remember the Grayson's bodyguard is now dead.
ETA: That was why he hired the bodyguard to begin with, there "wasn't" a need for him anymore, at least Nolan didn't think so.

from the preview, it looks like the reason Victoria approves of Tyler marrying Emily is that's the only way to get his trustfund

Also, it looks like they are setting up the perfect storm for us to not care about Daniel's demise. If Nolan and Emily both know about "why" Daniel is marrying her, that will setup perfect for why Nolan was so pissed at the Engagement party, and why Emily/Amanda seemed to be apathetic about the whole thing. Pretty sure this trust fund thing is gonna set her off, and her feelings for Daniel are going to be all but erased. Time for more Revenge!!!!!!

Just watched it on my dvr. Great episode.
Like Nolan said, she is truly a ninja with a little samurai mixed in. I'll never know how she knew Tyler was going to be there at the party and how she got hold of frank's wallet.

Interesting tidbit I picked up on another message board: are we sure the body on the beach is Daniel? They never turned him over so we are all assuming it's him.

In the first episode, the sister (Charlotte) is in the surf with Declan when they find the body and she's yelling DANNY !!! DANNY !!. Unless she just saw the clothes and assumed it was him?
